i had to google the john barry - was that a psychedelic version of alice in wonderland? never even knew it existed.
Avatar 7:12pm

yes - John Barry wrote hundreds of film and tv soundtracks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm

i know bond obviously, and his soundtrack to the persuaders is incredible...
Avatar 7:15pm
People Like Us:

he did loads of obscure ones too, a bit like Morricone did loads of unknown ones, they both churned out so much stuff - John Barry's work is so haunting (as well as being very poppy)

This is like some neo-“Oompah Loompah” stuff happening here.

my days of watching things slide down poles are over. i can barely make it til midnight anyway. and all of our 'coverage' - ryan seacrest etc - just is horrible. remember the folks always had to watch guy lombardo and i was ready to slit my wrists.

"I still have my first ever Sony Discman, from around '87. Really heavy and only portable in the sense that you could carry it. Completely unable to track while moving even slightly."
I still have my late 80's Discman as well. It's actually functionally superior in many ways to almost every device I've seen since then. Except that you shouldn't move it around.
