Well, lets just say the evening was curious as I was engaging w/ my greenery (as well as bringing my plants inside) when this all occurred. The FDNY brought in their 'gas detectors' and localized the leak to the gas pipe leading to my stove. (stove is about two decades old).

Ah, it was written by Jane Wiedlin and Terry Hall together! Jane took it to her band first (the Go-Gos was '81), and Terry took it to his band second in '83. "Cover" in the sense of already released, though it is by an original writer.

Speaking of accents, when I moved to NYC, everyone told me I had a (US) Southern accent, which I never noticed before. Now I have coworkers that assume I'm a native NYer. It still takes about 3 days back in the homeland for my accent to come back.

While we are talking about all this stuff, anyone have any recommendations for a humidifier? I have a 110 year old brick house with radiant heat. I run a room humidifier all night long but when I wake up the humidity in the room is still only around 38% (in the winter). My throat and sinuses are dry as corn flakes. I occasionally do a netti pot. It makes me feel much better but I hate the process.
