Hey, Monica! Most cinematic feeling to your intro today. Is Deborah Kerr today's Ms. Turntables?

...can I call this 'New Agey' w/out it sounding like an insult?...probably not! - better say Ambient or Atmospheric! - because it's Good !
- What a face! ( - rather than hips or such this week...) ; ...often impressed in these gifs by what can be expressed in about six seconds or so !...

Love the Vangelis. My 12 year-old remembers listening to this at 1 in the morning on New Year's Eve after 2 of her buddies had a horrific sleigh accident at a party in the country. The blips and beeps, like those in the hospital where they lay in critical condition. OOF. They survived the night. This tune was gripping.
Avatar 7:12pm
Reeshard:

Film music nerds of my acquaintance note discrepancies between the music heard in the theater while watching 'Blade Runner' and that which the soundtrack lp contains. Not so close to the issue myself, I just know it's the only Vangelis music that I enjoy.
  7:12pm

Catsilk, Whoa, what a story. And what a soundtrack for it.

Have lived in SoCal for a long time now - where the leaves don't change color, they just turn down the 'hue' knob - but autumn remains the time for: apple cider, Chas Addams cartoons, Kinks records, Luis Buñuel (I re-read his autobio every year at this time, as he so loved the first cold snap).

A Summer driving through France, then up Spain to Portugal. In Portugal starting with a few days relaxing on The Algarve (Portugese Riviera) then up to Lisboa, with day trips by rail to some nearby cities, then back in the car and up to the North, including Oporto, wine country. This, after Mrs. Yankfan & I do our cross country trip visiting ballparks far and wide. Then,if there's any wanderlust or travel bug left over, a trip to Ireland to see how green it really is, and to Scotland to drink the local libations.
