...Re the Ceres project - would could be better! We all have the same atmosphere, the same water, & basically the same food sources. I heard him speaking on Desert Island Discs, and have seen him on Tv and want to read it. I'm currently reading Butterflies in November by Audur Ava Olafsdottir and it's lovely, very wry. Her first book, The Greehouse, is lovely too.

Those 2 books sound good Trouble and Adrian. I'm finishing up "No Man's Land" by Duong Thu Huong. It's a metaphorical tale about the dysfunction of the Vietnamese government through a relationship story. The author's books are banned in Vietnam and she's not allowed to travel abroad.

Yup. And when my dad was in a shop voting on a union with my gramps in the 50s, they had to deal with thugs with bats and chains.

He's conservative/libertarian, but never ever on the subject of unions. He tried to unionize the profs at the school he taught at, but they blew him off. He had the last laugh.

@Wood Green, glad he is still playing out. He is fabulously talented. He really knows how to write a fabulous song. I took Mary Margaret O'hara to see him play about 5 hears ago here in Toronto and there were fewer than 20 people in the audience. He was unaware of her music.
