Carole Lombard did good things for pale-colored satin. One of her outfits in 'My Man Godfrey' was made from the same material as today's Ms. Turntables shot. It perfectly framed one of Carole's greatest assets (after her comedic timing) - specifically, the Booty of Doom.

Avatar 7:59pm
Parq:

I second Starwick's praise of Harpo's autobio (Harpo Speaks!), and the neatest thing about it is this. One night, when the Bros are still in their Broadway phase, Harpo gets a backstage visit from a new fan, Alexander Wolcottt -- and from that point on, the book is scarcely at all about the Marx Bros and almost entirely about Harpo's adventures with his Algonquin crowd. An entire chapter is devoted to a single ill-fated prank that Harpo and a pal tried to pull on Aleck, and it's the best shaggy-dog story ever.
