Mr. Fine Wine:

So we're engaged in a (mostly) silent fundraiser this month to raise $200K for a brand-new ground-floor public performance space! Pledge right here, over on the left there...

Paul Spencer:

OK--the wife and I are listening to another great set of N'awlins tunes as the soundtrack to TCM, currently playing "Carnival of Souls." This combination is working rather well.

The Ghoul (who?) used to play that flick frequently! One of my faves!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

I don't remember that one! I know the title for sure...but I'm drawing a blank on details.

Paul Spencer:

That could be the Cool Ghoul, who was Zacherley, or Ghoulardi, who's still on the air. Lotta ghouls out there. Carnival of Ghouls...

Detroit/Cleveland Ghoul. Abandoned Amusement Park. Beautiful. Find it -Watch it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

That there's the Ghoul in question in DP's avatar, Paul!

Mr. Fine Wine:

Whoops! Some trouble with my fingers!
  8:47pm
Paul Spencer:

I think that avatar is the original Ghoulardi! His son is on the air today doing the same schtick. Carnival of Souls was indeed shot primarily in an abandoned amusement park, with plenty of Night of the Living Dead extras menacing the leading lady, who herself may be alive or may be dead. Creeeeepy.

One of the better love songs based on an ad, no?

Mr. Fine Wine:

I'd say so!
