Took a big risk this weekend and brought in a chair my bf found on the street (couldn't resist, it looks like a fancy Danish mid century number)... no traces of vermin yet! I did have a paranoid moment and sprayed it down with bleach, then hosed it off.

Good find, Liz. My friend found a mid century Danish pepper grinder this weekend. It's the most stylish pepper grinder I've ever seen. Good weekend for Danish design I guess.

thanks for the SUMMER TWINS song (v.g. fun interview of BURGER REC by nardwuar, last wk!). as for BEDBUGS, i hope it all works out. and this is from the memoir book "another bullshit night in suck city", the writer Nick Flynn works at homeless shelter & they put residents' clothes into this 'oven' that kills bedbugs. in another scene, a homeless man is __feet away & writer says "you could see the bedbugs crawling on him" (shudder!! book was made into movie with RDeniro and Paul Dano, i think)

yes, and Julianne Moore plays his mother. He wrote ( i suspect- cos i haven's seen the film) a more interesting book about the film called "The Reenactments". Great show . Thanks Liz!
