Good morning, Thom. Standing by for auditory fulfillment.
Avatar 11:46am
DDDJJJ666:

Welcome to the Pleasure Dome, Carm!
Avatar 11:50am
DDDJJJ666:

This throat singing sounds like my friend Enrique of Soriah fame. He goes to Tuva every 5 years to comete in their international throat singing competition. Last time he went he was awarded a horse!
Avatar 11:55am
DDDJJJ666:

I will likely have to answer for my synths before the day is done.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57am
Doug Schulkind:

The seven deadly synths, I hope!
Avatar 11:58am
DDDJJJ666:

This synth kills fascists.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am
Rich in Washington:

synth you mention it....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm
Rich in Washington:

I may have to miss the first half hour due to a ponderous and typically pointless work meeting.
Avatar 12:04pm
Carmichael:

Your statement is redundant, Rich.
Avatar 🥁 12:04pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

if you gotta synth...
scratch it.
Avatar 12:05pm
DDDJJJ666:

As regards your meeting, Rich: ditch.
Avatar 12:06pm
DDDJJJ666:

Totes scratch it, Drude.
Avatar 12:07pm
Carmichael:

I was otherwise occupied in the 80s, so this music is alien to me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm
davex:

The best meetings are the ones you are obligated to go to although you know that they bear no relevance on you or anything you need to do.
Avatar 12:08pm
DDDJJJ666:

This music was designed to be alieb to everyone.
Avatar 🥁 12:08pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

...whereas I was an alien in the '80s, so this music is a lovely homecoming. Esp. that severed heads. Clicky-star mashed to pieces.
Avatar 12:08pm
DDDJJJ666:

Can't this show be presented as a bullet point at a meeting?

good tuesday, all, and welcome back dddjjj666!

Hello JFW!

Rev. Turnip Druid:

......although whenever the page refreshes, that clicky-star becomes not-clicky'd. Technology lies.
Avatar 12:11pm
DDDJJJ666:

You must be my clicky star, you shine on me wherever you are.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm

Why don't I ever hear this on the radio here (Germany)?
Avatar 12:12pm
DDDJJJ666:

Das stimmt. Zu gut, veilleicht. Oder zu rar.

I gnawed my left paw off, metaphorically speaking, to escape the meeting steel trap but now missed The Severed Heads.
Avatar 12:18pm
DDDJJJ666:

When I was a kid helping in the slow ruin of Detroit, synth was a dirty word. Luckily, I had a foul mouth.

Thank Christ for archiving. And for the bomb.

Hey DJ6³ (or Tony C.) Have you ever heard of an early 80s Portland synth dude named Randy Lewis, who only put out one 7" called Dreams Within a Dream? It's very Klaus Schulze-like.

Paul Nelson knows him, so might track him down.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm

I had it in the 80s but was stolen by an ex-room mate or disappeared at a party but recently tracked it down, sans picture sleeve, which is a pity.

I'll let you know if I come into any.

Although not thought highly of by the band, Eve is an early and successful foray into "symphonic rock". Andrew Powell did a great job with the London Philharmonic, and the production and engineering (which was recently re-mastered and re-released) is top notch.
