Morning Liz! Just favorite-ed this song "Vitamin C" which to me is a Pink Floyd-esque redux for these 2013 times.
Avatar 10:41am
doca:

the problem with those malkmus' versions of can songs is that you understand the lyrics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43am

Ha ha, you have a good point, Doca!

It is indeed news to me that the words "Vitamin C" appear in the Can song entitled "Vitamin C." I am seriously that dense, people. Nice enunciating, SM!

Avatar 11:23am

Those who have not yet earned a good morning may take one on credit, at a reasonable APR for the first 90 days. After that, hoo-boy.

Ken From Hyde Park:

The TV & internet news websites are agog with the pending royal birth in England today. Liz, you have a suitable royal baby birth song queued up? Is there a royal corner in the FMA, where us commoners cannot access?
  11:27am

Loving this tune. What is this WNYX I keep hearing in the station ID? Wasn't that the psuedo radio station on NewsRadio? :D

i love BoC (er... NOT blue oyster cult), but this album... i was hoping for more. but it's got some good moments.
Avatar 11:40am

@DCE: I disagree. It's not as stirring as what they did before. Actually I was missing that "magic" here.
Avatar 11:43am
Chris from DC:

How terrible, I had no idea about Faye Hunter. RIP.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am
fred:

@the glowing one: this is the one goodish track in my opinion. I went through the release airing at work, snoozefest. Some transitions were good, but the longer tracks bored me. Just my unenlightened opinion there, please hold your lawyers, BoC!

@ the glowing one, haha, the sentence "yeah this is GOOD!" should have had the disclaimer that it applied to my perception only!

the glowing one:

@fred: Yeah, that's what I heard about the album. Seems people were correct if that's the best track.
Avatar 11:54am
johnforz:

New BoC is totally a snooze fest.

There is maybe one or two moderately interesting tracks. They've done a good job of emulating the aesthetic of music way more interesting (carpenter, frizzi, etc). it's a shame, but seems the days of Geogaddi are long gone...

Snooze fest as in good sleepy music, or music that puts you to sleep when you want to be awake?
