Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:02pm listener james from westwood:

hey hey, matt, and fellow fiveash fans!
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:03pm Doug Schulkind:

OK, Matt, you're DJing for two now. We need you now more than ever.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:05pm Uncle Michael:

Matt's gonna start "pulling a double?"
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:05pm Gary:

Is anyone else getting the cutting in and out of the music? I wonder if I need to reboot or something?
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:05pm Matt F:

Hola Dudes.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:05pm pacific standard simon:

Bear up, bison, never say die.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:05pm Carmichael:

Yep, bump off the DJ in front of you, and everyone gets promoted up one.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:07pm Uncle Michael:

I love The Big Night. Stanley Tucci needs to direct more.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:07pm listener james from westwood:

now bing's doing the french mistake.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:08pm Gary:

Okay, I guess i did have to reboot. It's fine now.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:11pm Matt F:

The only thing this song is missing is canned applause each time it starts back up after a false ending.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:12pm Lewis:

Indeed Big Night was spectacular, but I can't watch it a second time... The near final scene scrambling eggs is very close to cinematic perfection!
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:12pm Rick from SC:

I don't know why, but I like this
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:15pm duke:

Makin' Whoopie whoopie
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:17pm Uncle Michael:

another reason...for naked Whoopi.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:18pm duke:

Is this the 1965 Ray Charles Live in Concert album. That's my favorite Ray album?. The version of You Don't Know Me on that album kills me every time I hear it.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:20pm Matt F:

Duke, Yes! I think that's the best version of You Don't Know Me. Much better without all the studio schmaltz that's on the Modern Sounds in C&W album.
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:23pm Sean B.:

I'm home....;What else is there to say. Thanx Matt; ALL heart, man.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:23pm duke:

Yes, there were scmatlzy arrangements on too many of Ray's ABC recordings.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:38pm Matt F:

Sometimes you gotta go with the hit.
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:40pm Doug Schulkind:

I usually play this track in the evenin'.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:41pm pacific standard simon:

It's evening somewhere!
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:42pm Matt F:

Still Late Moanin' out where you are, right PSS?
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:43pm pacific standard simon:

Sandwich time!
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:44pm northguineahills:

Ok, I can listen via my phone, and comment via my work computer. My data plan is gonna be effed while working here. at least I'm making coin!
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:46pm northguineahills:

Phone won't let me comment on the GDDS, maybe I should bug Kenzo about that.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:47pm pacific standard simon:

Moanin' & Groanin' -- I smell coat tail ridin'.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:50pm Matt F:

There's gotta be a funky jazz tune called Bellyachin' out there somewhere.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:51pm pacific standard simon:

Or "Wailin'".
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 2:56pm Doug Schulkind:

Can Andre Williams' "Bonin'" be far behind?!
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 2:59pm pacific standard simon:

Clarence Carter "Strokin'".
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 3:01pm Holly in NC:

Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:01pm Matt F:

Hiya Holly! Welcome to the end of this over-gimmicky set.

Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:07pm Uncle Michael:

I want to hear Pissin' an'a Moanin'.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:08pm Matt F:

"Bitchin'" would be a good title for a funky instrumental.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:12pm Uncle Michael:

I'd also like to hear "Bitch, Bitch, Bitch."
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:12pm listener james from westwood:

Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 3:14pm Holly in NC:

My word I adore Percy Mayfield
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:15pm Matt F:

Me too. One of the greatest songwriters ever to walk the earth.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:20pm Uncle Michael:

In about '81, my dad brought me a Gene Vincent record from a shop on the Champs Elysee. First time I'd heard him. Loved it then and now.
Avatar Thu. 6/27/13 3:26pm Doug Schulkind:

Give the Drummer Radio, where the women are 12-stepping, the men are underemployed and the children are loaning their parents money at a huge vig.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:28pm Uncle Michael:

At least the waffles are selling like hotcakes.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:30pm Gary:

Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:31pm Parq:

Hi, Fiveash. Took the day off to do some work around the house, for which you are providing the soundtrack. And I'm digging it the most.

The French toast is selling like groat cakes.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:35pm listener james from westwood:

Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:42pm listener james from westwood:

i first heard the blue notes version near the end of a car ride. waited in the car, in the parking lot, until it was done.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:43pm listener james from westwood:

really hope the downstairs neighbor doesn't mind me tapping my toes to the flash and the five!
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:47pm Matt F:

They'll live.
Avatar    Thu. 6/27/13 3:48pm pacific standard simon:
