Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 12:15pm Jeff Golick:

I'd be willing to wager that D:O Radio has the highest ratio of titles with umlauts of any GTDR show.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 12:19pm Doug Schulkind:

I think Töny Còúltêr could give you a run for your your money. He plays, um, lots.
Avatar    Mon. 6/10/13 12:20pm Brian in UK:

Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 12:32pm northguineahills:

Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:36pm Shaun:

Does Giuseppi still play in a New York park?
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:36pm Jeff Golick:

Dunno, Shaun. He may...
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:37pm northguineahills:

I believe he was still performing at Thompkins Square Park two years ago, but I haven't checked lately.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:39pm Doug Schulkind:

Giuseppi performed live on my penultimate show on WFMU proper. One of favorite all-time broadcasts. At that time (June 2010) he was busking every day in Thompkins Square Park. I haven't heard anything in the interim to suggest this has changed.

Here's a blog post with a photo IDing GL playing in Thompkins Sq. last November: evgrieve.com...
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:39pm Shaun:

Tompkins Square, that's it. Cheers.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:42pm Shaun:

I remember him playing on your show, Doug. Three years ago?!
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:49pm Doug Schulkind:

Yup indeed, Shaun. At one point during the live performance, Logan ambled over to the beat up old stand-up piano in the studio and started playing it and singing. It was far from the mic and unplanned and his singing was virtually unintelligible and it might have been the highlight of the session.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:53pm Shaun:

Haha, I do remember some of it being inaudible.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:54pm Jeff Golick:

I also remember some of it being [unintelligible]. Usually when Mr Logan was on mic.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:55pm Shaun:

Yeah, that's what I was trying to avoid saying ;)
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 1:59pm Doug Schulkind:

I kept trying to coax him closer to the mix, but frankly I'm not sure that would've made a huge difference.

Dave Mandl was just playing Jemeel Moondoc last night. I love it when that happens!
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:01pm Shaun:

Gotta scoot. I'll catch the last hour on the archive. Cheers, all.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:04pm adam_nspy:

Who's going to Roulette this Wednesday? I'm PSYCHED.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:06pm Jeff Golick:

Thanks, Shaun. Glad you could stop by!
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:06pm Jeff Golick:

@adam_nspy: I'll be there after 9. Red-head; FMU t-shirt.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:22pm adam_nspy:

Yes! I'll introduce myself.
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:23pm Jeff Golick:

Please do!
Avatar Mon. 6/10/13 2:55pm northguineahills:
