I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Mr. McFeely was all hands!
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 12:20pm still b/p:

Lady Elaine was a bath salt freak. And McFeely knew EXACTLY what he was delivering.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 12:21pm amEdeo:

Lady Elaine and all them puppets were super creeps. One day the world will learn to fear them the way I did.
Fri. 4/12/13 12:22pm Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

And what was the obsession with tunnels on that show? Oh, wait...
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 12:23pm Carmichael:

Wasn't this music box from the Twilight Zone episode where the kid talked to her dead grandmother on a toy phone? At least it SHOULD be.

amEdeo I think most of the world caught up with you

I agree that Lady Elaine was terrifying.

The autotune number last year didn't much diminish the scent of something sinister & alt-world disturbed, either.

I'm the next contestant on the Bryce is Rice!
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:01pm SometimesJasmine:

This is the most tantalising thing I've heard in quite a while...

Cottage cheese is a Thomas Kinkade painting genre, yeah?
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:05pm Bryce:

kinkade! now there's a holy man
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:05pm stinkbug:

Was Iancu Dumitrescu the scratchy stuff before this current track?
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:07pm Bryce:

yeah, that's right. the amplified distorted metal thing. (actually, there were prepared pianos in there too)
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:07pm amEdeo:

Did Lady Elaine direct that film movie "Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage Cheese"?
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:09pm SometimesJasmine:

Hah! That's the firework sound my delay pedal makes when it runs out of battery!
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:09pm stinkbug:

Your show always rocks, although I am rarely in comments for it.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:09pm Bryce:

yes. he pretty much had to turn the profits over to her after the harrassment suit.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:10pm Bryce:

thanks a lot, stinkbug! easy to just sit here and press play 3x an hour. :)
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:10pm amEdeo:

Lady Elaine is quite the litigious larry.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:11pm Bryce:

mr kinkade also has alien hand syndrome
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:11pm still b/p:

Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:16pm amEdeo:

Eat your heart out, Paul Lansky.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:17pm Bryce:

paul lansky! no kidding, i was literally just standing in the library, trying to remember that guy's name
  Fri. 4/12/13 1:17pm mark:

Second movement of the Gilius van Bergeijk was a revelation. thank you.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:19pm Bryce:

wish i knew more about him. some pretty interesting stuff on the two cds we have here. broken (prepared) barrel organs, and the like....
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:19pm DCE:

I am pretty satisfied with this oscillation.

I found him on an compilation cd that came with a music textbook back in high school. Never covered him in the class but I was pretty taken with the excerpts on the disc. Never met anyone who has heard of him aside for people on playlists here.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:26pm Bryce:

we definitely have some of his stuff here! may have been relocated downstairs, tho — didn't see it in the stacks just now
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:27pm amEdeo:

Are the two cds dedicated Lansky collections, or experimental comps?
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:27pm Cheri Pi:

Heya Pockets! And Mr. 23.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:28pm Richard Nixon:

Bryce, this song sounds a little odd. I think if you spray some WD40 in that CD player it'll fix it right up.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:28pm amEdeo:

Ah. That would explain my inability to find him in the library. I need to dress warmer and explore the cold depths of the basement more often.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:30pm Cheri Pi:

there's a sad casio-ghost providing background vocals. Get ghost hunters on the phone STAT
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:30pm northguineahills:

The only Paul Lansky pieces I have was one included in my 8cd collection for a music literature class I took as a undergrad, and another for I believe from one of the ohm electronic music comps.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:33pm Carmichael:

Are there a lot of Ohm comps? I found one in a Goodwill store for $1.00, and it still astonishes me.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:33pm Bryce:

ah! just remembered the cd we have: "fantasies & tableaux," i think....
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:35pm DCE:

CP I totally hear that sad little ghost in there
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:35pm Richard Nixon:

I'm telling ya, a little WD40 will clear it right up.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:36pm amEdeo:

Cool! I will search for it this week. I wonder why he seems to be relegated to music course CDs.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:36pm Cheri Pi:

I like where this is is going...
Avatar    Fri. 4/12/13 1:37pm cklequ:

Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:37pm northguineahills:

I think there is at least 3-4 Ohm comps, 2-3 cds each.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:38pm Cheri Pi:

what he said...
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:38pm Richard Nixon:

CP, it takes a minute or two but once the WD40 starts to cut through the grease Scott McDowell got all over the CD player everything falls right back into place.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:39pm Cheri Pi:

don't fix it! The ghost needs the grease to communicate.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:39pm amEdeo:

What a cartoon that was.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:40pm Richard Nixon:

Surely this isn't the sound that Byrce was shooting for...
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:40pm Cheri Pi:

What does the bird have to say? I bet the bird likes it just fine.
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:41pm amEdeo:

Wait-- isn''t Richard Nixon dead??? ARE YOU THE GREAS GHOST?!!
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:41pm Cheri Pi:

"ghost in the machine"
Avatar Fri. 4/12/13 1:41pm amEdeo:

Greas ghost is not to be confused with Grease Ghost.

But what is the general state of kiestertude of your dad's fundament? Don't gloss over it.

Do we have to talk about my dad's fundamental kiestertude right here on the internet?
