Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:04pm Sem Chumbo:

You had be at garters but a gun? Noir ce soir, I guess. Good evening M., and all.
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:04pm cb1:

Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:04pm Starwick:

Traveling for work this week and am pleased to hear you coming in loud and clear from the other side of the world. Greetings all.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:05pm fleep:

Guns and lingerie go together like guns and lingerie. Howdy, Monica!
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:05pm cb1:

That';s mousse, not mouse!
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:07pm G:

The cat in my current icon preferred chocolate mouse.
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:07pm cb1:

fleep - not to mention high heels and garter belts
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:08pm G:

Does that count as lingerie any more? I see people dressed like that every time I hit a suburban mall. :)
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:09pm Doug S.:

Hey lady, be careful. Those things are loaded!

A most pleasant evening to you, o Siren of Sunday Evenings.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:10pm Sem Chumbo:

Kinda Queen Victoria's Secret attire.
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:10pm deanland:

Was that the inspiration for The Beatles' Happiness Is A Warm Gun?
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:12pm cb1:

Sem Chumbo - that's really very funny
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:12pm deanland:

Oh, look! Below the first one is that famous Jane Fonda video, "Home Garter Belt Calisthenics Workout!"

This is not your father's Greco-Roman wrestling here. First off, he'd never wear his hair like that...
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:21pm G:

Good tune for the gifs would be a cover version redone by a male singer as "She Shot Me." It *must* exist somewhere!!!! :)
     Sun. 4/7/13 7:22pm Maggie B.:

Mo, no L'Eggs?
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:24pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- but *you* are Archived - & my local PBS station's Folk&World show this timeslot ain't (unless that DJ's having a bad week or something)
...& once I switch to this Mac over here, this nasty little Scorpio will be able to see this lascivious gif y'all speak of...

The mousse is divine - and so is the Mo
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:29pm will:

I've really liked the show so far, but I find Quick Stab of White unbearable!

Stochastic A440! I missed it; playing outside.
Glad for archives. Encore.
     Sun. 4/7/13 7:39pm Maggie B.:

Oh! Re: tourists - tell it!!!
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:39pm sugarwolf:

omg i haaaaaaaate people who wander around to look for more stuff... and then when they are FINALLY ready to pay they make a big deal about being in a hurry.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:40pm sugarwolf:

I am coming from this from the other side of the cash register but ugggghhhhh don't get me started.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:40pm Starwick:

People who are not prepared when they get to the front of the line (digging for wallet, credit cards, coupons, etc.) especially after standing in line for an eternity.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:41pm fleep:

And then they write a check, slowly, because debit cards scare them.
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:42pm Listener Schned:

Bene bene, Pope Felix's favorite canzione!! Molto grazie!!
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:42pm Starwick:

OR -- those "Do you mind if I go ahead of you? I only have a few items" people.
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:42pm CB1:

Any line at a big box store with the inevitable "price check"
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:43pm earrie:

1) Places where I'm a regular that won't stop asking me for some points card. 2) Cashiers holding on to the receipt and circling some online feedback site with some pitch about some offer I don't want.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:43pm Sem Chumbo:

The "I have exact change" people who lose count of the nickles and pennies, and start over...
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:43pm sugarwolf:

Yes you have to pay sales tax in New York State, even if you pay cash!!! No you can not have more discount!!!
     Sun. 4/7/13 7:43pm Maggie B.:

Mo, I love me my Herald Sq., and I'll go there as long as I work in the area. But you know what's worst? Woodbury Common, which I live near. The fern tourists are going there in droves! They're like retail zombies!
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:43pm Starwick:

OR people who have kids who mutilate items in line then insist upon going and getting "new" replacements.
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:44pm CB1:

Sugarwolf - been there - oh boy have we been there.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:44pm fleep:

Express line. Two items on the counter. And then ... "Do you have stamps?" "I need Camel Lights in the box" "I want my change in rolls of quarters" It's not the number of items, it's the high maintenance.
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:46pm Listener Schned:

Are we the only ones cracking up, as the supermarket robot says, "Put your MELONS in the bag" ?
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:47pm deanland:

The people who get on the 20 or 15 or 5 items or less (which should be FEWER, not less!!!, but that's another gripe for another time) with an entire shopping cart full of stuff. Then, when someone (like yours truly) points out that this is the quick-checkout line, they say something to the effect of, "Oh, but I'm here already." At such times I want a stun gun, and then to toss all their stuff back into the cart (and them, too) and put them at the rear end of the longest line in the store. Grrrr!. Those people are always the ones who grab the WRONG SIZE item and give the cashier grief that it isn't the sale price coming up, and then tell them the scanner is wrong. No, douche bag, it is the 10 oz not the 32 oz that's on sale. For those, a stun gun is too kind. They just deserve to be drawn and quartered on the spot.
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:47pm Andrew:

Tuned in from Tokyo, where it's Monday morning! Mo luv!
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:47pm Neil:

Had a bad experience at the counter at Ikea in the 80's. Haven't been back since. Basically hate any store that has more than two locations. Now, the used vinyl store nearby where I picked up two volumes of the Tico All Stars before heading to Long Island to see Jerry Lewis, well, then, that's another story.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:49pm Starwick:

All listeners together now: "Get off my lawn!"
  Sun. 4/7/13 7:50pm earrie:

"Lawn" ?
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:52pm Starwick:

Sorry Earrie. Garden in the UK. Property elsewhere.
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:53pm CB2:

There was a store called Grand Brass for lamp parts on Grand Street. There was NO parkling anywhere around, but if you complained that you were double parked and needed to hurry, they would refuse to serve you.
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:55pm CB1:

OMG Liberace sounds just like Marlon Brando!
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:55pm deanland:

Then there are the "before you get on line" issues, at department stores, drug stores, groceries, and such, where people block passage in an aisle while carrying on at full volume, yakking about their personal lives while talking on a cell phone. All sorts of private details, spelled out, as though no one else is around. I have a friend who butts into the conversations: she just acts like a 3rd party one the call. When given the evil eye, her comment is, "well you were sharing the call with EVERYBODY WITHIN EARSHOT, so I figured I was ALREADY PART OF THE CONVERSATION."
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 7:56pm david_:

Insightful remarks from Mr. Liberace.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:57pm sugarwolf:

deanland, your friend is a hero.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 7:58pm Monica:

  Sun. 4/7/13 8:08pm listener gary:

  Sun. 4/7/13 8:09pm earrie:

Earrie Lobed, 123 Fuck the Hell Off Lane
  Sun. 4/7/13 8:11pm Catsilk here:

My great Italian uncles' claim to fame was giving Liberace his start at their supper club in Buffalo. I've always had a soft spot for the gentleman.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 8:12pm Monica:

Catsilk in the place to be!... Evening, Listener Gary!... haha, earrie!!
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 8:18pm david_:

ending up. with one item. in line behind an extreme coupon-er at the do-your-own checkout. invariably they need humans to decode some of their coupons.
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 8:23pm Sem Chumbo:

"Mo' is Better" Blues. Thanks for the tip, Al.
Sun. 4/7/13 8:24pm Aleks in Greenpoint:

Monica, is butters by chance a golden retriever?
Sun. 4/7/13 8:25pm First World Problems Institute:

I feel ya, CB2, but 'double parking' for 'lamp parts' ? I reckon Grand Brass was named for its clientele (jk)-
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 8:26pm Monica:

Aleks, Butter is a French Buklldog - who is wearing L'eggs Silken Mist Control Top pantyhose!
Avatar    Sun. 4/7/13 8:27pm Monica:

Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 8:31pm david_:

  Sun. 4/7/13 8:34pm will:

What's the difference between Heaven and the other end of the Lincoln Tunnel?
Avatar Sun. 4/7/13 8:34pm dk:

i had the afterlife insurance little jimmy's peddlin' here, but they yanked the policy when i tried to make a claim.
  Sun. 4/7/13 8:35pm will:

It's almost impossible to get to the other side of the Lincoln Tunnel during rush hour.
