hey all! has the opportunity to pledge online from a pre-marathon mouse pledge disappeared? was gonna divert chunks from my check to various shows, but the pledge form doesn't have the slot-machine approach anymore, unless i'm missing it.

I saw them in 1987.
I meant Mats G, but Sonny S is up to it, too

Today's artwork, btw, is by Japanese graphic artist Tadanori Yokoo, whose work we, uh, appropriated for the cover of the D:O Radio premium.
Avatar    Mon. 3/4/13 12:25pm Doug Schulkind:

@Listener James from Westwood
Not sure about that. You should email Listener Services maestro Joe McGasko about that. When you filled out the pre-marathon brochure, I think there was a "prize account" option, which allows you to then dole out your total contribution piecemeal. There probably is a thingy that Joe can click on to make that happen. Do you need Joe's email address?
Avatar    Mon. 3/4/13 12:28pm Doug Schulkind:

Avatar    Mon. 3/4/13 12:29pm Doug Schulkind:

We would love a pledge to get the ball rolling. Some pre-marathon pledges have been added in, but a webbed in pledge, right now, would be aces. PLEDGE YOUR FINGERS TO THE NUBS!

  Mon. 3/4/13 12:40pm Jeff Jackson:

Curlew - seriously underrated. Or at least underheard. Extremely generous of Downtown Music Gallery to offer this goodie as a premium.

There are three prizes to giveaway at the top of the hour (in 15 minutes) and still no one in the running, so your chances are pretty dang good. Make a pledge now of $15 or more and get in the running.
  Mon. 3/4/13 12:46pm Jeff Jackson:

Have we mentioned our premium - some seriously rare, wondrous, and freaky jazz from Japan. Big bands mixed with electronics, sublime ambient tone poems, juddering noise blowouts - you will dig. But first: PLEDGE!
Avatar Mon. 3/4/13 12:46pm Hugo:

The software just told me I've committed a circular reference. Good to be held in check.

Way better than an octagonal reference. Those can get painful.

The drummer on this Aaron Novik cut is Greg Saunier from Deerhoof. So, you know.
Avatar    Mon. 3/4/13 12:54pm Doug Schulkind:

Seven minutes till we draw for prizes. Right now your chances are 300% that you'll win. Pledge now using the box atop the playlist page. Every little bit helps...
  Mon. 3/4/13 12:56pm Jeff Jackson:

If we get five pledges before the end of this break, Jeff G. has promised to do the next show dressed as Kenny G while eating habanero peppers. Make it happen!
Avatar    Mon. 3/4/13 12:58pm Doug Schulkind:

If we don't get five pledges before the end of this break, we'll bring in the really Kenny G to serenade you for the next hour.
