Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 6:44am Sigurdur:

Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 6:46am fred:

Jason, we've had this stuff for years here, and the only info I trust is when they say all trains are delayed. Then I switch to buses or walk
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 6:46am ausmanx:

management at my place of work sent an email this week saying we had to be "I get shit done" people. how does one do this, folks?
Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 6:52am Sem Chumbo:

@ausmanx: management by email? Sounds like the problem starts at the top.
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 6:54am hamburger:

Every time you complete a task, exclaim "boo. yah" / every now and again, nudge your co-workers and say "working hard, or hardly working? amirite"
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 6:56am hamburger:

every greeting should be accompanied with a double finger gun point, including a wink, and *chk* *chk* sound
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 6:56am hamburger:

hyperactiveinefficiency.files.wordpress.com... these bad boys
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:01am hamburger:

everytime you throw some paper in the trash, it has to simulate a basketball 3 point shot. if it goes in, exclaim *saaaa-wishhhhh!*
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:02am hamburger:

those kinds of actions are the actions "get sh*t done" type people do
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:03am ausmanx:

ah yes, we had a training day last year where the FACILITATOR not only looked like David Brent, but acted like him. that must be where it's from. thanks for the tip! sem... sending emails is "getting shit done", surely... oh.
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:05am hamburger:

everytime you send an email, incorporate the double gun finger pointing to the *click send*
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:20am hamburger:

@ausmanx: be this guy in the office: 24.media.tumblr.com...
Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 7:23am Sem Chumbo:

Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 7:37am Ken From Hyde Park:

Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 7:40am Sem Chumbo:

Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 7:52am Sem Chumbo:

Wow, what pipes.
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:52am Jason Elbogen:

Fred--I've been working hard (bringing the vinyl to my classes and--in the case of Thai--restaurants in order to get translations. Do you think people would prefer untranslated? I can't learn how to type Chinese in the next 24 hours I don't think. Or Korean.
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:53am ausmanx:

hey, that IS me, hamburger, where's you get that gif? and i'm keen on filleting fish in most situations... and i'm subtitling tonight, jason, so just send stuff my way and i'll get the chinese guys here to do it for you!
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 7:54am Jason Elbogen:

[Gurmeet Bawa] video
www.youtube.com...
Avatar    Fri. 3/1/13 7:58am fred:

@Jason: I wouldn't be able to read the original title, so I'd vote for translations. The advantage of transliterations is that it can help finding info about the record (though these can vary a lot)
Avatar Fri. 3/1/13 8:04am Jason Elbogen:

Fred- Well, I plan to put on the 'real' Label name and record matrix number (they mostly use the Roman alphabet). That might help somebody find the lp the song came from...
