This io track has other stuff going on in it aside from the flamenco bit. I keep looking around the 'boxcar' to see whether there are ghosts behind me.

My first experience going on an Amtrak train ended with an announcement from the conductor about the fact the train had arrived on time "once again". Sounded so proud. Fun
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 3:44am KP:

Good morning, Bill.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:46am Jay/London:

hey KP !
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:46am Bill Mac:

Yo KP! How's you Saturday going? Actually how's Friday night been?
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:48am northguineahills:

I once took Amtrak from J-ville to Ft-Lauderdale b/c my car was in the shop. It toolk 13 hours b/c it went to Tampa first, and since the freight train company (CSX) owned the tracks, many a time we had to be stationary while cargo trains went by. A straight drive would have been just plus of 5 hours.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:48am Bill Mac:

Hey thinks for poppin' in NGH! Don't be a stranger.
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 3:49am Brian in UK:

We got some very lazy attempt at snow here. Cannot decide if it wants to hit the ground or just do a Spiritualised and float in space.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:51am northguineahills:

NE corridor, DC-Boston, Amtrak owns the track, so it's an easy trip. I'd take the bus usually, but w/ a winter storm, and a taxi fare this was the cheaper alternative. I also only have to get there 2 minutes before the train leaves, and bring what ever I want in my luggage.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:51am hamburger:

Ou.. harsh ngh. Trains in the UK tho. Obscene
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 3:51am Bill Mac:

Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:02am Brian in UK:

That's Kevin & Lol Coxhill. Got to go to my second funeral of the year on Thursday. Odd the first three letters of funeral.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:03am Bill Mac:

For sure brother.
@Brian I was looking for a credit on the other vocal. Thanks
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:05am Bill Mac:

I seem to recall that I was going to use that as a tagline for my 'Now for My Final Number' premium of a fer years ago - Let's put the fun back in funeral. Eh, guess you had to bee there.
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:06am Brian in UK:

Sorry Bill, Archie Legget, think he played bass as well I meant passed away.

@Ham I'm proud to say I was able to fit the phrase "hot asses" into my grandmothers' eulogy.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:14am Jay/London:

think that is the best way to go Brian
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:15am Jay/London:

in what way did you do that Bill
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:15am Brian in UK:

Heard Kensington Bop on Charlie's show the other day. Love the album title. Got anything lined up for the marafun. Mebbe some folky number using a stool!!

@Jay on the job?
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:17am Jay/London:

oh ok brian enough already
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:18am Bill Mac:

I quoted her - she was living at a care facility and apparently they had spicy mashed potatoes one Tuesday - as she stated, "There were hot asses all over the place."
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:19am Jay/London:

that's great bill am sure she liked what you said
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:20am Bill Mac:

Wow Charlie played Kensington Bop! I was the singer in that living room band - you can hear the Beefheart influence in that one. Good times they were.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:21am Bill Mac:

I need to tune into Charlies show. I used to listen to him on the way home from the Sunday overnight back in the day. Seeing him walking round 'FMU on a Monday morning meant all was right in the world.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:24am Bill Mac:

@Jay I think she would have liked it. My Mom laughed so I'm sure Gram woulda laughed - right after she swatted me.
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:26am Brian in UK:

Here's the link, Bill.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:26am hamburger:

oh boy. these chord changes are reminding me of another song. no idea what the name of it is tho...
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:30am KP:

Oh man missed Wayne Kramer. I saw the MC5. Top 10 easily.
Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 4:31am Bill Mac:

Really? There's a lot of Kramers' solo stuff I like.
  Sat. 2/23/13 4:42am KP:

I meant i missed the song you played in the time it took to walk from my car into house (we still have a lot of snow on ground here). Yes i saw the MC5 as an opening act, they were outrageous, especially Kramer. Ive heard some of his solo stuff but none of it has not really stuck with me.
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 4:42am Brian in UK:

Ideal, Holmes.

Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 5:03am KP:

Avatar Sat. 2/23/13 5:05am Bill Mac:

There is another cut where he uses machetes - on what - I don't know. If you like this you'll like the next two cuts.

I've seen them so it live. They keep putting the key up, it gets outrageous.
Avatar 🎃 Sat. 2/23/13 5:58am KP:

I think he played a stand alone organ like a farfisa as compared to be a B3. When i saw him he played electric piano, which was still loud as hell. Him and Frosty!
