We get a solo performance, as he often collaborates with other noise artists like Sewn Leather and Pictureplane, and we are lucky to catch this session fresh off of a brief tour. Dog D basically raps about the most weird topics imaginable over a wall of industrial plodding noise layered over heavy beats. It's like eating a intricately layered bean dip of noise during a blackout at the Superbowl and hoping you don't get murdered during it. The Life Stains LP is coming out soon on Hoss Records. I don't know if this is too "namedroppy", but I heard DJ Dick Dog's call from jail on the answering machine after he got locked up for pissing in an alley. I thought I was dreaming it and didn't answer the phone out. He got out soon after though.
