My neighborhood is populated with chickens, cows, and horses. They are all a rather nice bunch. They don't say much and are very good listeners.

My neighbors chickens are usually pretty quiet – just soft clucks and such. But now and again one in particular has a session of existential lament that can last quite a while and rouse the neighborhood.
