A reflexive, traveling radio production. Each show is spontaneous as a backroom deal, a different guest a different location every week. Two hours of trading records with friends, programming without a prepared playlist. Actually, it goes like this: Jesse Kaminsky travels around Boston with a portable radio show, visits a different person every week and makes spontaneous musical exchanges. We agree to call it radio.

How about the 1974 Sun Ra film "Space Is the Place." (which, by the way, was produced by Jim Newman, uncle of the GTDR listener "Uncle Michael.") |

What about Brother From Another Planet? Can't remember if we see Joe Morton deposited on earth from his spaceship in Harlem. |

just flying saucers and the like, or any non-cgi sci-fi spaceship? b/c the original 3 star wars films only used models. no cgi until the special editions in those. 2001 and alien both used models. |

yeah, anything. I'm especially interested in variety. I'm pretty sure that Brother From Another Planet didn't show the ship, more of a flash in the sky |

There is a Spanish/Italian movie from the 80s called "The Brother From another planet" or something like that which does have a spaceship. Barbarella is perfect! |
