Track Comments Approx. start time
Az, Pete Rock, Gerald Levert Remixes...   Live remixes. Shit's nuts in here right now, I got shorted equipment, remixing on the fly, guzzling coffee.  0:00:00 ()
Fugu   French kinda prog fusion smooth jazz thing from like 2000. Up my alley. Record's called "Harmonia Maudit". A+ start to finish.  0:35:22 ()
Public Works   later project from Tape Beatles. "I can, I will, and I do achieve whatever I set my will to."  0:45:08 ()
Tony Caro & John   Great loner folk LP reissue. "Blue Clouds". Drag City is A+ at stuff like this.  0:48:35 ()
Mingus...with some amendments....     0:49:08 ()
David Bowie   Up The Hill Backwards. Guess how many times I listened to this song in a row this week! From Scary Monsters Lp.  1:09:19 ()
M Geddes Gengras' new LP   He came into my show a few years back playing drums...somewhere along the lines he got really great at modular synth tomfoolery. Holy Mountain put out this LP, "Test Leads"  1:12:23 ()
Usher...I know, I know...   (always love picturing confused folks driving in their cars wondering why this Usher single sounds wrong -- our little secret!)  1:19:42 ()
Few different Quiet Storm remixes...some hillbilly autoharp music smooshin around in there...     1:50:24 ()
Lotic   new single on Lamin's new record label Sci Fi & Fantasy. Song's called Glittering.  2:00:33 ()
Thomas Dolby   The Gate to the Mind's Eye...the visuals to this as well as VERY funny.  2:05:48 ()
Xaal Byblos   Newish Zeuhl music...you know, music that is indebted to Magma and Magma's fictional language, Zeuhl.  2:12:09 ()
"You And Me Tonight"   ...the Aurra song, that is...  2:31:43 ()
Af Ursin walkin around in the woods   Cool new freaky disc called Murrille, out on Robot records.  2:41:32 ()
Zalmac   from the disc "Norman Jay Presents Good Times 30"  2:50:30 ()
Tony Caro again   Tried to play it against the mic, didn't work...it works better on the turntable.  2:55:53 ()

I really like the work of M Geddes Gengras. Great stuff, fun show.
Did you listen to Bowie's Up the Hill Backwards 7 times?
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 1:24am fred:

What's wrong Nat? Since when do you apologize for your raw material? The autotune abuse alone makes it worth cutting up
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:33am Veronica:

Hi all! I'm sick too Fuzzy. Just finished making dinner with lots of ginger and garlic. The show is soothing tonight Nat.
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 1:35am fred:

Hi Veronica!
@Nat: I can't hear that air horn sound you used without thinking of DJ/Rupture
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:39am Marmalade Kitty:

  Tue. 1/29/13 1:40am Veronica:

Ms. Kitty! Hello...
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:42am Marmalade Kitty:

9 days, Is that a record?
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:44am Veronica:

@Fred: What's the weather like in Paris now? Do you get snow this time of year?
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:44am Marmalade Kitty:

Hello! Veronica :)
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 1:50am fred:

@Veronica: We got some last week, an inch or two, but it didn't stick -- thankfully, city snow is a mess. Now the temps are back up around 50°F, too hot for my taste this time of year
  Tue. 1/29/13 1:54am Veronica:

Yeah, a nice blanket of snow in mild cold is good for walking around, unless it gets slushy, but not for driving. It's been much too warm here lately in California.
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 1:58am fred:

@Nat: did you grab a record from MAC's collection there?
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:01am Nat:

Somethin like that...I think that was from the FMA's oldies collection.
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:08am Fuzzy:

  Tue. 1/29/13 2:18am Veronica:

Zeuhl cool...I had no idea Zeuhl was considered a type of music: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeuhl
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:29am Fuzzy:

@fred: just flashed this ROM but it crashes like all the others I've tried -- shyte LG phone. Dev said to get crashlogs asap after reboot...I'm a dutiful guinea pig!
Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:33am fred:

Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:45am fred:

There's a professor at work who always dresses in different shades of purple. He even writes with a purple pen.
  Tue. 1/29/13 2:46am Veronica:

LOL
  Tue. 1/29/13 2:48am Veronica:

@Nat: You changed the description! What happened to the walk in the woods? It was all an illusion...

I'll change it back!
  Tue. 1/29/13 2:50am Veronica:

Avatar Tue. 1/29/13 2:50am fred:

  Tue. 1/29/13 2:53am neil:

a good craftsman never blames his tools, it was his fingers fault. crazy fingers always getting in trouble...
  Tue. 1/29/13 2:54am Veronica:
