Avatar 6:28am fxo:

Avatar 6:40am kat330:

OK, breakfast is in the works and Philo's lunch is made up.
Hi, Frank!
Hi, again, Amedeo and Fred!
Avatar 6:47am kat330:

Stones, XTC -- most mollusk!
  6:49am maestroso:

G'morning Frank, Fred, amEdeo, Kat330...
Avatar 6:50am kat330:

Hello, maestroso.
  6:51am Jack:

Hi everybody and good morning.
Avatar 6:52am kat330:

Back atcha, Jack.
Avatar 6:53am Frank O'Toole:

hey kat, get Philo up.
'stroso: hope you're doing fine, this morn.
Jack: as well.
Avatar 6:54am kat330:

He's up. Already been out for a jog and all. B'fast now though, so fingers otherwise engaged for several.
Avatar 6:58am Sem Chumbo:

Jeez, missed some good stuff here. Gotta get up earlier Mondays. Good morning from farther up the right coast.
Avatar 7:06am fxo:

Sam: what you've missed, earlier, will be on the FMU archive, later today, and you can check this stuff for over a month, 24/7.
Avatar 7:20am Sem Chumbo:

Distracted there for a few minutes, your music is the soundtrack to a Bay of Fundy sunrise, clear blue sky, water, the whole show. Bald eagle in the mid-distance. Thanks for archive reminder, pretty new here.
  7:33am moose:

good morningo
Avatar 7:34am fxo:

Sam: thanks for the view.
Avatar 7:35am Frank O'Toole:

good morning, moose.
Avatar 7:38am Parq:

Ah. My favorite Bacharach song.
Avatar 7:41am duke:

@parq mine too
Avatar 7:43am fxo:

Parq & Duke: mine three. The original sax break kills me.
  7:53am 3Dnyc:

Ah, the audio "special effects" in this Moody Blues were mind opening as a kid-
Avatar 7:56am fxo:

3Dnyc: most of their stuff from the late 60s were "mind opening". We agree.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:58am Brian in UK:

Hello fxo & friends. THINKING OMMMM.
Avatar 8:00am fxo:

Brian in UK: "Ommm on the range"?
Avatar 8:03am kat330:

An especially nice soundscape for the morning today, Frank.
  8:04am 3Dnyc:

innocuous too, which was rare for that time..
Avatar 8:05am fxo:

thanks kat. If you like the soundscape sounds, there's more to come (I think).
Avatar 8:06am kat330:

Good, since I'll be better at attention now with Philo off to work. :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06am fred:

Good morning Frank and fellow listeners
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10am Brian in UK:

@3Dnyc It was amazing how many groups like The Moodies went from R'n'B of 'Go Now' to psykermedelic sounds and hair growth within a couple of years.
Avatar 8:12am kat330:

@Brian: Psychedelic shortcut. ;)
Avatar 8:14am Van in DC:

Tuning in from work, good morning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18am Brian in UK:

What was the name of the story by Gurney Norman that interspersed The Last Whole Earth Catalog(ue)?
Avatar 8:20am kat330:

Hiya, Van.
Avatar 8:21am Van in DC:

Hi Kat
  8:21am 3Dnyc:

Yes, Interesting.
..and for the most part , the shifts seemed inspired/desired rather than business decisions...( at least to this casual observer :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25am Brian in UK:

Yeah it was the scene, man. My favourite was Zoot Money's Big Roll Band moving to Dantalions Chariot.
Avatar 8:26am fxo:

3Dnyc: maybe notcasual.
Van: good morning, camper.
Kat: s'all good.
Brian:that was a reissue of a new CD by Brother (Pastor) John Rydgren.
Avatar 8:38am kat330:

Some super soprano.
Avatar 8:38am Van in DC:

This is wonderful!
Avatar 8:40am kat330:

Several octaves apart from Brother John Rydgren just before as a nice contrast.
Avatar 8:40am glenn:

don't you mean vanderful?
Avatar 8:41am Van in DC:

that too I guess :)
Avatar 8:45am fxo:

Annie Haslam was /is a great singer. Used to live with Roy Wood.
Avatar 8:46am kat330:

Hope there was a nice cup of honeyed tea waiting for her in the wings. At the very least.
Avatar 8:47am fxo:

yes, at the very least. I saw her play with her band a few times in the 70s.
Avatar 8:48am glenn:

it's all about the honey with you, huh kat?
Avatar 8:49am kat330:

You can hear it sure wasn't Southern Comfort slicking her pipes.
Avatar 8:50am kat330:

@glenn: Providence seems to be moving things that way, yes. :) I think it all started with seeing the wonderful film "The Spirit of the Beehive."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52am Mike Sin:

Good morning, Frank! Groovin'...
Avatar 8:56am fxo:

thanks Mr. Sin. kat: you're on the money.

  8:58am maestroso:

This was a pretty great set, especially the Renaissance track.
Avatar 8:58am Van in DC:

Certainly enjoyed the bit I heard...first time I've wondered into here! I'll have to remember to do so more often :)
Avatar 8:59am kat330:

Wondered wandered Vandered.
Avatar 9:01am Van in DC:
