Record Fair and benefit was great! As Mike Sin said, the fair was "buttcheek to buttcheek" at a few points! The show was incredible and I think anyone who stayed to see the Relatives got a huge treat.

I'm not a radio-area listener but it seemed to me like the WFMUers handled the disaster pretty well. I hope listeners can help cover the loss and make the station stronger with its own reactor!

@wp - there may be other radio apps that are available that you can stream wfmu on. I got the Tunein app on a kindle that works. There may be others.

I second the TuneIn app. The stream on the WFMU Android app freezes after about a minute. When I'm on the go I listen via TuneIn and use the Android app to check the playlist/leave a comment if I'm using my dumbphone [I can't bring myself to refer to the G2X phone as "smart"]; if I'm using my Kindle Fire I pull the playlist/comments board up via the web browser.

Thanks WFMU for the Reccord Fair ; however , the angry security guard did not let me get in , since he cried out that after 3:00 pm no one was allowed to get in . I got there at 3:10 pm I traveled 2:00 for nothing .

Sorry to hear that, Alexis! We had to stop entry at 3pm so we could clear tables and people and records out for the benefit show. There will be a full-blown Record Fair Nov 22-24 this year if that is any consolation.
