Avatar    Thu. 1/10/13 10:45am BSI:

In 7th grade (1980), we had some religious dude come to the school & do a presentation about the evils of rock music, satanic messages, etc. ELO was featured prominently due to their use of creepy segue sounds & voices.... oh those heady days.

@pierre - I've been listening to "Out of the Blue" a LOT lately.
  Thu. 1/10/13 10:49am pierre:

@ BSI : seriously !? (I wouldn't know why would somebody invent such thing) whoa, schools and their ways of mis-guiding people in the right direction…
  Thu. 1/10/13 10:49am ac/dc pat:

whoa do I love the Creepers...
Avatar    Thu. 1/10/13 10:50am BSI:

@Pierre: my huge favorite is Electric Light Orchestra 2; it's like a sloppy dark prog record. Eldorado is big on my list. Early stuff. Disco-era ELO is good for different reasons (I used to roller-skate my ass off to the "Discovery" LP in the late '70s) ... Actually I'm a huge fan of the "Time" LP from 1981; it doesn't get much play, but it's a forgotten classic.
