Listener comments!

Listening in San Francisco.

Wm.:

Sweet! Have a great time. May you grab up whatever I left in Amoeba's metal section.
  12:06am
Pine:

Fridays that are multiples of 7 are always the best
  12:12am
SiHV:

I didn't make it to Amoeba but went to aquarius and dropped some money on delicious vinyl. Aluk Todolo, Velvet Cacoon "Dextronaut", Om "Advaitic Songs", the new Sutekh Hexen, and Windhand (eyehategodish stuff). I'm psyched.
  12:15am
Chhhhh:

Dark breakfast!
Avatar 12:16am
Wm.:

Sounds great! Aquarius is a terrific store; always been very metal-friendly. Let me know what you think of the Windhand and especially the new Velvet Cacoon.
  12:19am
SiHV:

It's actually an old Velvet Cacoon. Super-heavy vinyl. The windhand; yeah i haven't even heard it. Guy from aquarius said "doomy, female vocals, very eyehategod" and i said "sold."
Avatar 12:23am
Wm.:

Mental note: check into Windhand. What label is it on? ...and which VC did you get? Genevieve has always been my favorite.
  12:27am
Rory:

Amazing Edward Ka-spel track!
  12:31am
SiHV:

Windhand is on Forcefield. http://www.forcefieldrecords.org/site/

VC is "Dextronaut". Yeah, Genvieve is great. The song "Chapelflames" on "Northsuite" kills me.
  12:38am
Pine:

Vetala track's got a real hook to it
  12:42am
Pine:

Speaking of Ragnorak, i've been seeing Gwar randomly everywhere. By "seeing" i mean tshirts around, videos randomly stumbled on, friends playing them, that kind of thing. Its weird.
  12:48am
HAILSATAN:

music, fuck yeah, this dude kind of sounds like oderus
  1:08am
Unabart:

That Monarch song kicked ass.
Avatar 1:11am
Wm.:

Monarch normally have the female throat vocals, cool shit ... that track was from an instrumental CD single.
  1:14am
Rory:

Really good show so far... thanks!
  1:35am
Pine:

I wacthed Pumpkinhead along with Night People one night back when they had a 3hr show :D
  1:39am
Chhhhh:

@Pine That was the sleepover episode.. I listened along, but couldn't get the video to go along with it.
  1:41am
Rory:

Momma, what's a video store?
  1:47am
dw:

IVES!!!
Avatar 1:49am
Wm.:

Not Ives, but Ides. NJ hardcore with female vocalist...we've been hearing from their DEMO MMXII on this show. Hopefully, someday, Ives will visit as well!
  1:56am
dw:

Ah, well...my mistake, I'm a couple weeks late on the recent Shows; archives soon to be ransacked! Tonight's sets amazing, nice to hear it now and live!
Avatar 1:58am
Wm.:

It's an easy mistake, no worries! "V"s and "B"s were almost interchangeable in the Old English alphabet.
  2:14am
HAILSATAN:

ambient hate, possibly my favorite form of ambient. Its like venetian snares without all the hippyfuck happiness
  2:16am
HAILSATAN:

Also, mr berger, im guessing furniture never sent you shit, those lazy bastards. Ill prolly cut some of thier live shit up and send it your way, youll enjoy it. They are just slackers.
Avatar 2:18am
Wm.:

Nope, no Furniture here, just the usual, secondhand stuff. Thanks; would love to hear.
  2:21am
HAILSATAN:

I linked it to you months ago, and they were gonna send you a cd, the lazy bastards didnt, Ill link it again once your shows almost done, dont want to pull people away from your awesome, even if they will dig it.
  2:22am
HAILSATAN:

You enjoyed it when you heard it, and asked for more, I think I was using tramshed@gmail, I told them, they evidently got lazy, the bastards
Avatar 2:23am
Wm.:

It's not impossible that they sent it ... so much music in my virtual and physical inboxes....
  2:24am
HAILSATAN:

im pretty sure they didnt send it, they would have made thier package a scene, and it would have been noticeable.
  2:25am
HAILSATAN:

its far from the first time people who dug thier shit never heard from them again, they smoke a lot of pot.
  2:29am
HAILSATAN:

this is good, any clue whether its analog or digital, the time period could be either.
  2:30am
HAILSATAN:

wait, I should probably read the damn song title, nevermind
Avatar 2:30am
Wm.:

-see title-
Avatar 2:31am
Wm.:

lol
  2:31am
HAILSATAN:

see above, hehe
Avatar 2:32am
Wm.:

This is a great disc, this Don Preston; stands up next to any modern "noise" you could think of.
  2:32am
HAILSATAN:

I read the band, the album, and ignore the song title, go me.
  2:33am
HAILSATAN:

I dig it, most modern noise is unfortunately just that, noise. Everyone wants to be Merzbow.
  2:36am
HAILSATAN:

this is the link I was referring to, hopefully you remember it, if not, hopefully you enjoy it like its the first time again.
http://vimeo.com/31464464
  2:43am
HAILSATAN:

is the don preston album buyable, or do I have to internet it?
Avatar 2:49am
Wm.:

Not 100% sure, but it's pretty new, and Sub Rosa's distribution is pretty good. Check Forced Exposure or fusetron. If not there, try Amazon.
  2:50am
HAILSATAN:

right on, thanks man. Id rather buy it than steal it. If I cant buy it though, steal it and go to thier shows.
  2:53am
HAILSATAN:

This is a huge part of why I love wfmu, it teaches me music I would have never found otherwise. Its also a part of why I hate wfmu, half these bands are unbuyable, and dont do shows, so I cant support the awesome fuckers.
  2:57am
HAILSATAN:

Unlabeled CDR is kind of a mantra.
Avatar 2:58am
Wm.:

hehe ... some great shit on those.
  2:59am
HAILSATAN:

Indeed.
  2:59am
Rory:

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
  3:00am
HAILSATAN:

btw, you are probably my favorite show here since the spiral sun plan. You own.
  3:01am
HAILSATAN:

the only other fucker who comes close is Mr Dumdum, and they kick him off the air every other season.
Avatar 3:01am
Wm.:

Aw hell, thanks!!
  3:02am
HAILSATAN:

Ive got a good chunk of southwest michigan, northwest indiana, and chicago proper, hanging off your nuts, they love you.
  3:04am
HAILSATAN:

the lake kneels before your awesome.
  3:08am
Wm.:

What a picture! hehe Thx for listening.
  12:44pm
Ken of Brooklyn:

Listening after the fact, PHENOMENAL show as always Wm!
  11:07pm
Rory:
