  Mon. 12/3/12 12:08pm Kyle:

Oohh - too much . . . and the kids just don't understand . . .
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:08pm KP:

So sorry we missed you last night, Irene. Seeing them do this previous night in Huntington, LI, was hysterical. nothing more defines Status Symbol Land.
Mon. 12/3/12 12:09pm Brian in UK:

Hello Irene, Sean, Kyle. The only Monkees single I ever bought. Ahhhh.
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:11pm KP:

Brian, you bought this? You Just May be the One!
Mon. 12/3/12 12:11pm Brian in UK:

Papa Ness was over here solo about a month ago. Sad to say I missed him. Reports were good.
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:15pm Kyle:

How 'bout Zor & Zam?
Mon. 12/3/12 12:18pm Sean in Bristol, UK:

Mon. 12/3/12 12:20pm Brian in UK:

I did see Mr Nesmith 1974 at the Roundhouse with Red Rhodes for Zigzag magazines' fifth birthday. He was tired & emotional!
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:21pm kat330:

Hi, Irene, you brilliant Brits and all!
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:23pm dcp@:

Oh MAN! Missed a Monkees set?? Teach me to be punctual. My brothers and I thought Auntie Grizelda was hilarious when we were kids..
Mon. 12/3/12 12:24pm Sean in Bristol, UK:

Hello, Kat, Brian, DCE, KP, Kyle
Mon. 12/3/12 12:24pm Brian in UK:

The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant. Hurrah.
The child will one day be head of the armed forces, supreme governor of the Church of England and subsequently head of state of 16 Commonwealth countries. Gives you a warm feeling.
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:25pm kat330:

@Brian: 'Tis nothing in the good news department. We may break a record high today (in the mid-70s!), and I got carded just a moment ago. Fine day with a Trudel soundtrack to make it finer.
Mon. 12/3/12 12:27pm Brian in UK:

@kat is carding when you spin wool?
Mon. 12/3/12 12:27pm Van in DC:

Late again, hello Irene
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:28pm kat330:

@Brian: Ha! At my age, it's when a cashier demands proof I am indeed 55+. :)
Mon. 12/3/12 12:29pm Sean in Bristol, UK:

If it's a boy, how about Henry, we need a ninth Henry!. Hoorah Henry!
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:31pm kat330:

"I'm Enery the Eighth, I am" -- Herman's Hermits, yes?
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:34pm KP:

Irene, Mike played that huge Gretsch 12 the whole night, didn't even take it off when he played keyboards on one song, but ... he switched to a Strat for last very last song. That so he could play the intro to "Pleasant Valley Sunday."
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:34pm InBrkly:

I moved but InAlbany doesn't have the same cred haha
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:37pm dcp@:

"Are you waiting for the streaker?"?
Mon. 12/3/12 12:38pm Van in DC:

Mon. 12/3/12 12:38pm Van in DC:

  Mon. 12/3/12 12:40pm dcp@:

  Mon. 12/3/12 12:41pm Mott:

  Mon. 12/3/12 12:43pm kat330:

The agony required to write lyrics for a song this long...
  Mon. 12/3/12 12:45pm dcp@:

where's that confounded streaker?
Avatar Mon. 12/3/12 12:45pm Irene:

No, I just went to see them play last night at The Beacon Theatre in NYC. Great set, lots of WFMU DJs there too.
Mon. 12/3/12 12:47pm Streetcar in LA:

Name names Irene. Who was there and they will be disciplined
Mon. 12/3/12 12:49pm Brian in UK:

@streetcar. It's Freefrom. Freefrom any need to justify.
Mon. 12/3/12 12:51pm Streetcar in LA:

Mon. 12/3/12 12:54pm Sean in Bristol, UK:

Mon. 12/3/12 1:06pm Van in DC:

Gosh I love Sandy Denny. Thanks Irene
Avatar Mon. 12/3/12 1:13pm Irene:

Yeah, Sloth just meanders on. Love it though! And, no, it was not named after the Baseball Field.
Avatar Mon. 12/3/12 1:13pm Irene:

Sean, I have not yet heard the new Porcupine Tree. Thanks for mentioning it. I am a big fan.
  Mon. 12/3/12 1:14pm kat330:

Personally prefer meandering (esp. Thompson's!) over repetitive intoning. )
Mon. 12/3/12 1:15pm Streetcar in LA:

Got any Bobby Zim Xmas songs?
  Mon. 12/3/12 1:20pm kat330:

Shades of McCartney vocals Moore than once in a while.
  Mon. 12/3/12 2:10pm Asanarama:

Blast from the past. I played at one of those Monday night Sidewalk Cafe Open Mics.
Mon. 12/3/12 2:16pm Sean in Bristol, UK:

I love this track, echoes of Zappa maybe
  Mon. 12/3/12 2:16pm kat330:

OK I'll be sitting outside sans laptop (so no more comments) basking in what may well be "The Last Good Day Of The Year." Still listening, though (and reading Neil Young's "Waging Heavy Peace"). Thanks for all spins past and yet to come, Irene! Bye all!
Mon. 12/3/12 2:28pm Van in DC:
