Evening, everyone.

Richard from Venezuela:

Good evening Dave.
Avatar 9:08pm
Dave M.:

Hey there, Richard.
  9:13pm
Droll:

Lucky me gets to tune in live tonight, a rare treat... And I think I even passed the first math quiz of the show! I always liked these Elliott Sharp problems, too.
  9:14pm
Domenic M:

Evening Dave
keeping the particles blue tonight
  9:17pm
The Wrong Button:

gotcha!
Avatar 9:17pm
Dave M.:

Evening, D & D.

@TWB: We need to talk.
  9:22pm
BDR:

The Entwhistle: THANKS! been two decades at least since it slipped out of my brain's playlist.
Avatar 9:24pm
Dave M.:

@BDR: Happy to help. That's an old favorite of mine.
  9:46pm
Listening Out There:

Hope you're feeling OK, Mr. M. ("No 'e' in Mandl.), Based on your earlier tweet. I thought we'd have a sub tonight, but I'm happy to be wrong.
Avatar 9:48pm
Dave M.:

@LOT: Thanks. I played a game of chicken, thinking I'd be feeling better by tonight. But I lost. Still sick.
Avatar 9:49pm
Dave M.:

...But I'm better than I was this morning, anyway.

sam i.:

Got any Floyd?
Avatar 10:06pm
Dave M.:

@Sam: Always. What did you have in mind? (I've played them a few times in the last few months, though, so it might be too soon to play them again.)
  10:18pm
Uncle Michael:

Dave, would you care to play any later Scott Walker?
Avatar 10:25pm
Dave M.:

@UM: I don't have any with me, but I'll try to get out to our record library and fetch some if I can.
  10:27pm
3D-Nyc:

Great song, some "noregion wood" sic sound in there-
  10:27pm
Uncle Michael:

Just a thought. If you're inclined, great...but you sound like you should relax and nurse a hot cuppa. What you're playing is nice. This PSAPP is unknown to me. I like it.
  10:46pm
Droll:

Great story about The Original Artists. The new sure rip-off phrase is "Official".
Avatar 10:47pm
Dave M.:

@Droll: Haha. Or with food, "all natural," which doesn't really mean anything.
  10:56pm
3D-Nyc:

After WWII ended, a new town was named "Usa" in Japan.

They then stamped exports as; "made in USA"
Kinda like the "Original Artists" ruse....
  10:58pm
Andrew Waterloo:

Wire has really good interview with Scott Walker this month. Incredible cover pick as well.
Avatar 10:59pm
Dave M.:

@3D: My father told me that story about "Usa" when I was a kid. I was never sure whether it was true.
Avatar 10:59pm
Dave M.:

@Andrew: I know about it, but haven't got a copy yet. I'm looking forward to reading it.
  11:06pm
Uncle Michael:

Thanks for the heads-up Andrew. I'm excited about the new Scott release.
  11:34pm
Neaenie:

awesome track awesome set!
  11:43pm
Julie:

I thought this was going to be Set the controls...
Avatar 11:43pm
Dave M.:

@Neaenie: Thanks!
Avatar 11:44pm
Dave M.:

@Julie: Ah, sorry. But I played something from that LP not too long ago. I think the title track (Saucerful of Secrets).
  11:45pm
Julie:

oh i think it's more interesting that you have something that reminds me of that. Must check out this band.
  11:45pm
brycepunk:

Don't recall hearing this show (usually asleep now) but I am really digging it. Well done Dave. Wonderful music.
  11:48pm
