Good to see you made it through. Hope the home did too.
Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:05am Bill Mac:

Do to Hurricane Sandy our Record Fair, which is a major source of income, has been cancelled this weekend. On top of that, we are discovering more and more damage to our equipment here at the studio and out at our transmitter sites. She also has, with a nudge from Station Manager Ken, upped my October fundraising goal to help raise much needed funds. So, if you enjoy this program check the Zzzzzzero Hour box above. If you’ve never pledged before now’s the time, donate whatever you can afford and get some cool swag in return. Help get my little doggie's tail wagging again! And as always we at WFMU appreciate all your love and support!!
Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:10am Bill Mac:

Hey Everyone! Things are fine at my place. I was removed enough from the storm to be able to move about. It wasn't so bad getting to work but since it's 20 minutes from the shore, many folks missed lots of times because they couldn't get out. Power is still out in a lot of places. Jersey City looks OK but a bit empty looking thanks to the curfew.
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:11am T-Zero:

Curfew? You have snow, Bill?
Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:13am Bill Mac:

No snow, maybe Wednesday. I think there's a loosely enforced curfew here. Bar around the corner is open however.
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:16am T-Zero:

Ah. I hadn't read/heard about a curfew. Glad no snow yet on top of all else. It brought snow here, but didn't last. And for once I had power, while the wind knocked out everyone else... and that was hundreds of miles inland. Just really glad to hear you made it through and your place.
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:18am Jay/ London:

Hi Bill and all , glad to know everyone is ok at the station .. but the station needs help so please pleaser give something to save this station after all there is only one wfmu in the world
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:22am T-Zero:

Morning, Jay. Hope you're well.
Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:24am Bill Mac:

There's a guy I know from work that lives 2 blocks from here. Don't know his story but he hasn't been in since the storm, apparently he lost both of his cars.
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:25am Jay/ London:

@ T-Zero yes sort of on new pills which make me very tired and up earlier today as clocks went back last weekend
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:27am Jay/ London:

BIll who is jimmy and why did he pick out a creep
Sat. 11/3/12 3:31am Brian in UK:

Hello Bii, Jay T-Zero good to 'see' you. Glad to hear you are well. Your clocks change tonight?
  Sat. 11/3/12 3:31am T-Zero:

Time will roll back here tomorrow... (Sunday)
Sat. 11/3/12 3:32am Brian in UK:

Do not understand how the overall total has moved to $201,000!
Sat. 11/3/12 3:32am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

One of my JC friends lives at 2nd & Coles. He said there's a 7pm curfew. He didn't lose anything but he knows some people whose homes were severely damaged including a couple who lost everything. He lives on the third floor in his building so that probably had a lot to do with it. He received an automated call Sunday evening instructing anyone living on a second floor or begin evacuating.

And before anyone asks...T-Zero and I are not related.
Sat. 11/3/12 3:34am Brian in UK:

Extra homework for the Europeans for late arrivals. My excuse was no internet connection!! Here's an apple, boss.
Sat. 11/3/12 3:36am Brian in UK:

  Sat. 11/3/12 3:37am Martyn:

Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:37am Bill Mac:

@Jay The Jimmy title is just something I heard on the radio today. I appropriated it.
Avatar Sat. 11/3/12 3:39am Bill Mac:

  Sat. 11/3/12 3:46am T-Zero:

  Sat. 11/3/12 3:49am Jay/ London:

  Sat. 11/3/12 3:50am Kenzo (lastever):

  Sat. 11/3/12 4:02am Kenzo (lastever):

Bill, your ability to converse on the air with the playlist commenters is commendable. (To say nothing of your great musical selections.)

  Sat. 11/3/12 5:02am Stanley:

Good morning Bill and everyone. I'm really sorry to hear about all the destruction caused by the hurricane and in particular about the set backs at the station. It was really great to see how folks kept the show going by mobile laptopping dj's from all over the place. Especially Doug Schulkind - what a trooper. WFMU is amazing and deserves to be supported through this crisis.
  Sat. 11/3/12 5:04am Marmalade kitty:

Wonder if it's too late for sandy to be mentioned in the doc, it'd seem apt

Sat. 11/3/12 5:31am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Maybe the home video release will have a bonus chapter covering the week of Sandy.
  Sat. 11/3/12 5:32am Looms:

Better, let's do FREEFORM OR DEATH 2 ;)
  Sat. 11/3/12 5:33am Jay/ London:
