Mon. 10/1/12 12:10pm Jeremy in the UK:

Well for once I get to hear your show live, Irene, and comment as it happens - and what's more on a day when you have what promises to be a fabulous session. I remember your session from Matt Schickele some years back when you also played one of his M Shanghai String Band songs - Up From the Ground Below - which stayed with me forever. I still attempt to play it, it's a treasure. I wonder if they'll try that one today...
Mon. 10/1/12 12:11pm Coconut Grove Bob in Miami:

Hello Irene and all loyal listeners. Happy Mondays. Thank you Thank you Thank you for Freddie. I Love you
  Mon. 10/1/12 12:12pm KP:

TY, Jeremy!
  Mon. 10/1/12 12:24pm kat330:

Ah, well, Matt seems to evade the answer, but papa's proud to note in his wikipedia page that Matt is indeed his son. Cool.
Mon. 10/1/12 12:27pm Jeremy in the UK:

  Mon. 10/1/12 12:27pm kat330:

Mon. 10/1/12 12:29pm Jeremy in the UK:

This is rather nice, Irene. Haven't come across David Linnenback before, I'm trying to figure out whether we have a keyboard or a whooshy guitar thing going on behind the acoustic. Thinking keys

"Tic-Tac-Toe Chicken", sounds intriguing, especially w/ garlic.
I've told the story before, but did you know that Paul Simon's "Mother and Child Reunion" was titled after a Chinese restaurant dish--of chicken and egg!
