  12:10pm
Jeremy in the UK:

Well for once I get to hear your show live, Irene, and comment as it happens - and what's more on a day when you have what promises to be a fabulous session. I remember your session from Matt Schickele some years back when you also played one of his M Shanghai String Band songs - Up From the Ground Below - which stayed with me forever. I still attempt to play it, it's a treasure. I wonder if they'll try that one today...
  12:11pm
Coconut Grove Bob in Miami:

  12:12pm

Alternate Fred Neil, as if regular Fred Neil was not sufficient.
  12:14pm
kat330:

@Jeremy: Matt any relation to Peter Schickele (one of my fave arrangers)?
  12:15pm
KP:

Jerry Jeff and the Lost Gonzo Band was a def. top 10 show.
  12:18pm
Jeremy in the UK:

@kat330 no idea I'm afraid but the answer may be here http://matthewschickele.com/. Look up his old WFMU session though, it should be there in Realplayer form I expect. Worth a listen. But first, today's session!
  12:21pm
kat330:

TY, Jeremy!
  12:24pm
kat330:

Ah, well, Matt seems to evade the answer, but papa's proud to note in his wikipedia page that Matt is indeed his son. Cool.
  12:27pm
Jeremy in the UK:

  12:27pm

Any version of Urge for Going would fit the mood being set.
  12:29pm
Jeremy in the UK:

This is rather nice, Irene. Haven't come across David Linnenback before, I'm trying to figure out whether we have a keyboard or a whooshy guitar thing going on behind the acoustic. Thinking keys
