  Thu. 9/27/12 3:32pm Nico:

Let's hear it for (X-)TG's soon to be released cover of Desertshore!
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:33pm Cheri Pi:

Oh there we go, flash was being really weird...
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:34pm DCE:

  Thu. 9/27/12 3:37pm Cheri Pi:

restart your flash DCE!
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:37pm Parq:

I'm hearing the same thing you guys are, and I'm pretty sure it's the actual recording. Sounds a lot like my mind, truth be told.
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:38pm DCE:

yeah, a fresh flash makes things sound more coherent.
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:40pm DCE:

...ha...well, as much as they can be, anyway
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:41pm Parq:

Whadaya know, it was the Flash at that. God, if this isn't an archetypal WFMU moment. Maybe I should work on a piece that sounds like what we were hearing. I met get a commission.
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:46pm Mike East:

hahaha! this is much different than what I've been hearing. Thanks for the heads up comment board. What's that tagline again..."those aren't buffering problems, its our programming" or something like that. Oh WFMU, you always keep me guessing.
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:51pm Cheri Pi:

"shared moments in buffering"
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:51pm DCE:

we're closing at 4 for carpet cleaning. I love my life.
  Thu. 9/27/12 3:52pm common:

  Thu. 9/27/12 4:09pm northguineahills:

If you don't live in NYC, that Fulchi film is on Netflix the last time I looked. I would love to see it at Anthology.

  Thu. 9/27/12 4:15pm common:

  Thu. 9/27/12 4:29pm northguineahills:

But Netflix is weird, and they pull movies all the time (like the director's cut of "Apocalypse Now", which they pulled last May.
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:38pm nic:

awesome !!!
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:43pm common:

  Thu. 9/27/12 4:44pm Nico:

Speaking of Throbbing Gristle...
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:45pm steve:

anyone seen Lucio Fulci's The Beyond? Its been in my Netflix queue literally for years, I think I might never get to see it.
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:50pm Robert:

It didn't occur to me until today that your (Fabio's) opening theme fits the modern pagan understanding of giants. Giants represent chaotic, formless force, and while the music you play is definitely musical, it does seem much closer to formless than popular music typically is. So "Mr. Giant Man" is perfect for this program. Hi ho!
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:54pm BSI:

ahoy, tribbles!
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:55pm common:

Steve - the beyond is worth watching. stupid and disgusting and great!
  Thu. 9/27/12 4:57pm northguineahills:

I like stupid, disgusting, and great!
  Thu. 9/27/12 5:02pm steve:

i can tell i will like it just from those three adjectives.
  Thu. 9/27/12 5:12pm Jedd XperIence:

PHENOMENAL SHOW, as always Fabio!!!!!!!!!
  Thu. 9/27/12 5:16pm BSI:

  Thu. 9/27/12 5:17pm northguineahills:

Can't keep my eyes straight....
  Thu. 9/27/12 5:17pm BSI:

[playlist updates] ... ah, expo70, naturally...!
