Listener comments!

Good Morning Thomas. This is a good soundtrack for the coffee and muggy clouds and the cracked rib...ouch! thanks
  Sun. 8/12/12 6:57am Robert1014:

I was going to say that "Theoretical Girls" had been released as a 45", but I checked again and discovered I was mistaken: their 45" release featured "U.S. Millie" on one side and "You Got Me" on the other. I had not moved to NYC but was up here for a week visiting from FLA and picked it up at Bleecker Bob's as one of a number of records I was buying with no knowledge as to who the the bands were. I was grabbing what I could of new records by new bands that I could afford and could carry back with me in my suitcase. As it happens, the Theoretical Girls single didn't strike me as memorable and I was surprised when the band was name-checked over the years as an important band, (probably a post hoc judgement given Glenn Branca's later rise to prominence). I've heard tracks from their belated cd release and they're very good...very different than the 45". I keep planning to get it. The Red Transistor 45" I picked up at Pier Platters in Hoboken years later, after I had moved to NYC. Of course, it had also been a (much) belated release. The RT record struck me immediately as genius. (The other guy was Von Lmo.) I subsequently bought a number of Rudolph Grey releases on vinyl and cd.

I like how we all chimed-in at once, but Robert takes the cake for the long entry.
