||||||
Noted ace guitarist, singer, and songwriter Matt Munisteri has been described as having a "Pre-War Heart" when it comes to musical passions. Matt has played with a lot of current jazz notables, like violinist Mark O'Connor, Steven Bernstein, "Little" Jimmy Scott, Geoff Muldaur and bandleader/arranger Vince Giordano, who did the music for "Boardwalk Empire." But his latest passion goes back to the 1920's with pianist/arranger Willard Robison, whose music Munisteri brings to life on his latest CD "Still Runnin' 'Round in The Wilderness.” Matt Munisteri talked about the importance of Willard Robison's music and played a few of the tunes live in the WFMU studio. |
