His album, Nothin' But Blues, Vol II, on his own JA label, was given to me by my high school band instructor, Robert Bourne (RIP) in the mid-70's. It was an LP that tought young musicians how to improvise. I have always treasured the record and I am grateful for my wonderful music teachers that I had when I was young.

@paula: Though, this is a return to form for Clay: before Occupy this was the very heart-tugging homeless/street person type of interview Clay was the only person on radio doing. It's this sort of "real" experience that led him to OWS during it's first week to begin with.

Things seem so much harder now than when I was her age, and yet I slept in a doghouse (large one at least) and did whatever it took to get by. It's all a learning experience is the least that can be said.
