Listener comments!

  Sat. 6/16/12 11:06am Mike East:

Hey Michael, I was in the car last week and heard you giving away copy of the Beach Boys record. It was the first time I regretted not having a smartphone so I could've emailed you.
Avatar Sat. 6/16/12 11:07am Michael:

I, also, do not have a cell phone
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:13am frenchee:

I saw the BBs at the Beacon Theater in May (I think). First off, Mike Love no longer even pretends to sing. Brian is semi-comatose but still pretty amazing. And he can sing still. I fell in love with the drummer (John Cowsill). Bruce Johnston and Al Jardine were there. I still had a helluva good time and enjoyed the Dennis and Carl tributes.
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:13am Mike East:

my boss wants me to get one so I can answer emails 24/7...which I refuse to do unless he's paying for the service plan...more work=more money or else, no dice!
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:14am frenchee:

So I guess I'd say, go see 'em. While Brian is with them, while all the olders are playing (oh yeah, that Marks guy you interviewed too).
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:20am ChrisB.:

Mike, go see the Boys 6/27 at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel. Way closer.
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:45am Jim B:

Two kinds of mothers, Michael: the kind that buys you cool stuff and the kind that throws your cool stuff out.
  Sat. 6/16/12 11:49am BigJay:

Heroes and Villains is so good...see the animated video on youtube too.
  Sat. 6/16/12 12:03pm BigJay:

  Sat. 6/16/12 12:20pm frenchee:

Blondie sounds like a nice dude. Good questions, MS, and I like that you're respectful (even while trying to dig up the dirt).
Avatar Sat. 6/16/12 12:22pm Michael:

I wish I had a bit of time to prep - but It was certainly interesting
Avatar Sat. 6/16/12 12:23pm Jerry:

Wasn't it kind of early for Blondie to be drinking?
  Sat. 6/16/12 12:26pm clarke:

hey - he's on english time - and it is never too early to start drinking
  Sat. 6/16/12 12:30pm clarke:

  Sat. 6/16/12 12:36pm Mike East:

  Sat. 6/16/12 7:02pm Joe B:

Mike Love doesn't pretend to sing? he has sounded great at the two shows I saw. Not sure what you were listening to.
  Mon. 6/18/12 12:01pm Robbie White:

Mike, I saw the Beach Boys Friday night. They played about 35 songs in 3 hours and the show was terrific. I highly recommend that you go see them. Brian didn't look comfortable, but he sounded great.
Fri. 6/22/12 4:15pm The Ghost of John Barry:

Okay, so I didn't live twice, but my song sure did! Thanks, BBs -- love that chorus.
Fri. 6/22/12 4:17pm The Ghost of John Barry:

Okay, so I didn't live twice, but my song did! Thanks, BBs -- you owe me a chorus!
