CHIA's Dance Party deftly fuses the music of traditional Colombian marching bands with jazz / improv, rock and lots more.
Led by drummer / percussionist Martin Vejerano of New York's standout Colombian roots band La Cumbiamba, CHIA recently released an excellent debut cd, Miel.
The band's next area gig is Friday the 20th at Terraza Cafe in Queens.
