Live performance by guitarist Daniel Bachman (with Zach Taylor on Shruti box)
  Formerly performing as Sacred Harp, Daniel Bachman now has turned his talents to playing fingerstyle guitar with a wash of drones. Bachman recently transplanted himself from Fredricksburg to Philly, falling in comfortably with the thriving folk community there. He's just put out a new disc-- "Gray - Black - Green" --and apparently is obsessed with The Civil War. Daniel Bachman made the trek up to Jersey City with friend Zach Taylor to play live on WFMU.

Here's a new one to me: Sacred Harp is Daniel Bachman, a 21-year-old fingerstyle guitarist in the vein of John Fahey and the much-missed Jack Rose (in fact, Bachman helped design the artwork for Luck in the Valley). The style isn't new, but the atmosphere is raw and seeking.

That is an interesting album cover :)
