Hello everyone
Mon. 3/19/12 8:14pm Richard from Venezuela:

from wfmu's twitter: WFMU is about to be knocked out of this best non-commercial radio contest. Dont let it happen! Log in / listen at http://t.co/SBTjOozv
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:38pm steve:

everyone listen from http://t.co/SBTjOozv! lets do this!
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:39pm Mark T in VT:

The non-com radio contest thing is silly. Who benefits from such a thing?
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:41pm Mitten John:

Nice show tonight, KG, thanks!
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:45pm steve:

@Mark, anything that's going to lead to more press and attention to wfmu is a good thing... clearly a lot of people are participating in this, so it could potentially lead to more listeners, which could lead to more donations, which is a significant thing for a station run on a shoestring budget.
Avatar    Mon. 3/19/12 8:49pm DJ KG:

steve, certainly it'd be nice if it benefited the station, but - and i am only speaking for myself here - i really dislike the "battle of the bands" approach. i love lots of radio stations and in now way do i feel in competition with them.
Mon. 3/19/12 8:49pm Richard from Venezuela:

Agreed Steve.
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:52pm Mike East:

I support the radio competition because I think it would make Ken happy...and that guy is cool.
  Mon. 3/19/12 8:54pm steve:

thats a good point KG. but its all in good fun, and anything i can do thats completely painless that might benefit the cultural institution of WFMU, im happy to do.
Avatar    Mon. 3/19/12 8:54pm DJ KG:

well, i am and we are certainly happy to have your support, steve.
