A Doberman Type Jolts! This Eurythmics song is pretty ahead of its time.

That this show airs on Friday is just the icing on it's delicious cakey cake.
  Fri. 3/9/12 9:22pm Parq:

The Squires seem to have a squirrel as a lead singer. And I don't mean that in a bad way.
  Fri. 3/9/12 9:23pm Barkevious Mingo:

Lovedovey-tuneful and seemingly ungoogleable.

This tune is a tad Nesmithy.

Skirkie - no muss, no fuss!
  Fri. 3/9/12 9:46pm Barkevious Fakeassname:

How weird that something as immediate and great as "Flavor of the Month" is only appreciated by a popnerd underground.. The obfuscation machine works tirelessly.
  Fri. 3/9/12 9:58pm Large Panties:

grooving right into Spring with Pseu .
Fri. 3/9/12 9:59pm Chris in Newton:

  Fri. 3/9/12 10:24pm john:

From a couple sources: : β€œIt is with regret that The La's have had to cancel their show at the Webster Hall on Monday, March 12th, 2012. Unfortunately, front man Lee Mavers has damaged the tendons in his index (playing) finger. He has been to see a doctor and been informed that it will not have recovered in time for his New York show.”
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 10:27pm pseu:

sounds incredibly painful but not the end of his playing abilities.
  Fri. 3/9/12 10:27pm G:

Show was cancelled by March 1st, according to brooklynvegan's post:

we've been busy. Oh, and never read the BV unless absolutely necessary.

gf's read brooklynvegan, you know how it goes.

some commenters there claimed, without offering evidence, that ticket sales were the reason. whatevvs.

The patient was crushed under his massive catalogue.
  Fri. 3/9/12 10:35pm G:

In the early 70s, when the whole family was in the car and this song came on CKLW, all five of my youngest sister's siblings would sing along with the lyrics while she got angry and kept slugging everyone within reach.
  Fri. 3/9/12 10:35pm G:

Her name was Jane. I left that out!
  Fri. 3/9/12 10:59pm Ike:

I really really liked that Air track.

Folks, I'm involved in a very special radio project over in the UK as part of a festival called "As Slow As Possible" put on by AV Fest. I have a one-hour long radio piece that will only be played twice more this month. Tune in SUNDAY 3/11 at 11:00AM to the following link to hear. In the meantime, it's a 24-hour audio artwork lasting one month in progress (click on the red radio icon): www.avfestival.co.uk...
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:18pm fan:

That Paparazzi track was named "Walkiing In A Circle".
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:21pm pseu:

thanks, fan -- was not on my copy....didn't know there was a track 7!
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:22pm fan:

uh, that's "walking" ... without 2 "i"s. My bad. The songwriter, Erik Paparozzi, is not Dutch.
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:24pm pseu:

or Welsh for that matter.
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:27pm fan:

Oh, heyalls no, he's not. I know him -just putting the info out there for them!

PSEU BRAUN AND ALEX ORLOV: MANENS IN LIMBO – FOR RADIO BOREDCAST

I'm thinking the times given are UK times, so their 11PM would be our 6PM, yes?
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:31pm pseu:

Yes, you're right FML I can't get that f&*))kin' GMT str8.
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:32pm G:

I just didn't want to miss it. That's the hour before Monica, so that works fine for me...
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:33pm pseu:

OK, like G said, my radio thing'll be on at SIX PM SUNDAY at the link above. Click on the red radio icon. Otherwise, enjoy. Stunning stuff going on over there...

. o O (6pm Eastern, 5p Central, 4p Mountain, 3p Pacific)
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:37pm Ike:

We're setting our clocks forward on Sunday -- does that mean it's actually on at 7 p.m. Sunday our time (ET)? The UK's version of Daylight Saving Time possibly doesn't begin until 3/25/12 (maybe) so that throws a wrench into the clockworks....
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:38pm pseu:

I'm sure we can all figure this out once it happens, right? Tune in early so as not to miss anything at all.
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:40pm G:

It's part of an all-March radio/multimedia project by Vicki (of Do or DIY), featuring not a few FMU DJs, I'm seeing. So many shows are worth checking out.

Ike is right about the time. UK and US spring time change are not the same weekend. So if we go forward an hour on Saturday andf they don't, 11PM their tie Sunday is 7PM Sunday. Or something.

Global domination just aint as easy as it sounds.
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:41pm Scuttle:

Oh this is a nice song
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:43pm tim:

Spring Pseuward. Fall Richward.
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:43pm pseu:

thanks for pointing out the time change. Screwed up the translation of time the first broadcast of the piece. It'll be even harder this time around. Again, if you're tuned in way before, you won't miss. And you wanna hear the piece from the start, trust me.
Avatar Fri. 3/9/12 11:44pm pseu:

there's even a comments board while listening, yay! see u there...
  Fri. 3/9/12 11:56pm Destroit:

Hi Pseu, and all fine listeners. Totally bummed I missed the show. Had some wireless issues to resolve, but hey, I'm alive. At least I get to hear the Hazelton baton.
Fri. 3/9/12 11:59pm James in ATL:
