I resisted the obsession with basketball until i moved here. I decided I enjoyed watching most sports. I guess I got homesick. The Colts won the Superbowl a few months after I moved here, so that made me feel better.

it was awesome, it wasn't music but performance and installation and stuff at the kansas city art institute. he turned me on to so much great stuff!

cool, that's so nice to hear. sort of an enigma to me. about 10 years ago, 3 separate reissues just sort of appeared, two coming from england. really great & hilarious stuff.

yeah, he did beyond the black crack as a teenager and it got on the nww list. I think that fueled the interest in the reissues. He's lived in KC since then, performing with a bunch of different people but I mostly saw him perform with new chamber/electronic ensemble called The New Ear.
