"Ruthless People" is such a quintessentially 80s' movie, as far as decor and clothes are concerned. Honestly, one look at DeVito and Midler's furnishings tells you all you need to know about the 80s. And the fact that the plot hinges on DeVito taking credit for inventing the piano necktie (!?) when he really didn't... Pure 80s!
