Some WFMU D.J.'s exist in the far corners of my consciousness.
You are one of those. Filling in here or there, always a very pleasant present.

Hello there!
Avatar Wed. 2/15/12 4:57am jeff-m:

morning Looms
  Wed. 2/15/12 5:00am andy mac:

one of the things i particularly like about the show is i've no prior history with this kind of material, no knowledge of the artists or the circumstances of production etc so i can only approach it as pure sound - this is hugely refreshing to otherwise jaded ears!
Avatar Wed. 2/15/12 5:06am jeff-m:

that's great that you hear it that way. it's meant to be a love of sound. some shows are different, but that's the overarching plan i guess
  Wed. 2/15/12 5:10am Looms:

@andy: sounds like me when I first got interested in that type of music. I think you're infected, ruuuuuuun!!!
  Wed. 2/15/12 5:16am Bas, NL:

Wed. 2/15/12 5:22am Adam in Portland:

Hey, Everybody! What a pleasant surprise it is to catch any bit of jeff-m's show. Andy Mac, you make a great point. I might know just a bit more about the source materials, but I also always learn quite a bit from jeff-m.
Wed. 2/15/12 5:23am Adam in Portland:

Mark McGuire (Emeralds) has moved to Portland, Oregon: pretty exciting!

Wed. 2/15/12 5:28am Adam in Portland:

  Wed. 2/15/12 5:30am Bas, NL:

@Jeff: It's a fantastic thing i have a daytime job where i can tune in to WFMU! Now we only have to work on having you on every day.. ;)

Wed. 2/15/12 5:43am Adam in Portland:

My grandson took a vacation to Key West and all he brought me back was this stupid Fundies! Not at all practical or effortless.
