Wm.:
I quite like the name; sounds like the title of an old Euro horror film. This track, by the way, is one whole release, a "magnum-opus" of 25 mins., a practice becoming more and more a facet of black metal. |

Oh Sheila, your ravaged lunch meat face is totally harshing my trip, man!

My favorite Lovecraft short story is "The Lurking Fear".

Wm.:
I've always loved The Outsider. But the longer stories serve perhaps a different purpose than the quick shockers. Tonight's film is not the greatest, though it is loaded with many memorable scenes and iconic Euro-horror imagery that I've been seeing in books all my life. www.imdb.com... |

My fav Lovecraft is "The Shadow Over Innsmouth": "I have an odd craving to whisper about those few frightful hours in that ill-rumored and evilly-shadowed seaport of death and blasphemous abnormality."

I figured V would have a more orchestral theme song for himself but this is good too.

thank you, Wm.! will check out "Terror of the Living Dead" . . . just got an old Lovecraft collection off the shelf -- devoured his works when i was a kid (this is a Scholastic paperback from 1971 -- !) -- a revisit is long overdue :)

The Thing On the Doorstep is one of my favourites, Arthur Machen probably scares me more though

I think our lady of the playlist is quite attractive; I am into that "undead" thing, though. |

She's very thing on the doorstep ;) I've been living in Scotland for a while now and it's the spookiest place I've been, something to do with all the sandstone and hills I think. Rory there's a great Alan Moore audio book that ties Machen in to all history it's pretty hair raising, they're from the same place

Another amazing show Wm. Enjoying these long play tracks as well. Random, but not a solicitation: Have you guys heard about the Palaoa project - where this research station records and streams underwater sounds in Antarctica. Really ambient and ethereal, but loud and chaotic at times. When a glacier is crashing into the ocean nearby, it sounds like worlds colliding. http://tinyurl.com/palaoaSounds
