NYC, while this was thie first recorded version, the co-writer, JJ Barnes, beat his writing partner Melvin to the punch with his version. So this remained unreleased until 2010 on this comp!

"Mad" Mike was in the Fuzztones when Rudi moved shop to California in the late '80s. IIRC, Mad Mike is on the "In Heat" album produced by Shel Talmy.
