Listener comments!

  Tue. 11/8/11 6:03pm A Voice:

Watching the "Thrilla in Manilla" documentary in homage to another publicly announced death.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:15pm Ben Drinken:

When I hear this guy Cain talk about being president he makes me think of a crazy right wing president from Africa. Not to be racist at all but he is for sure not a real average black guy in the united states
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:23pm Ben Drinken:

Too bad it seems we need to spend a whole show on this guy. Seems this show is now turning into shut up weirdo
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:24pm Haven't Been Drinkin:

OK, since Ben's going there. :-)

I've known adjunct professors like Obama my entire adult life -- many hundreds of them. I knew from the get-go he was all smoke and no practical competence. Hillary would have been 100 times better. Anyone who was sucked in by Obama in 08 doesn't have any real judgment, and can't sway anyone intelligent by their say-so alone. Dommage!
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:27pm seang:

all politicians suck
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:28pm Ike:

So, @HBD, what does that have to do with Herman Cain? That's a real blanket statement.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:28pm Ben Drinken:

I want to know if Cain used the Chris T pot holder to wipe up the mess
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:33pm Ben Drinken:

I love the Chris T pot holder.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:36pm Ben Drinken:

Cain: they took that Chris T pot holder and tool false evidence. I never masturbated into it
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:38pm Ben Drinken:

Cain: I may have used the Chris T pot holder for "business" but never, never used it for these inappropriate purposes
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:39pm Winston Legthigh:

Baseless Tequila Shots!

Love, Boston
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:39pm Haven't Been Drinkin:

I'll help you out with reading comprehension, Ike. :-) Most of the information we take in is via implication. --

Without supporting either of them, it's far from clear between Cain and Obama who would be worse at the job. That's a balancing response to Ben's assertion than Cain is an incompetent of subsaharan African background. What the heck is Obama but the same thing?

I understand that most people only see good in their political side, and only see bad in the other political side, which is where Ike is as usual going with his entry into the conversation.

But I'm focusing instead on actual competence in accomplishing anything beyond the occasional popularity contest.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:40pm Chris t pot holder:

He did things to and with me
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:42pm hamburger:

he came from behind? that's what SHE said...

  Tue. 11/8/11 6:45pm Cain:

I was gonna have Chris Ts pot holders in every restaurant. But now I hear this. Nope.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:46pm Joseph:

We already had a business major president in Bush. Look how awesome that was. He did make a lot of money for other businessmen.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:48pm Al Lewis:

Cain needs something old school and funky sleazy - like say "Let It Whip" by Dazz Band.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:49pm john:

pizzaria uno
Tue. 11/8/11 6:51pm ching Chang Cain bing bang:

Chinee candidate no to be foun we on every town in America more dan pizza!
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:51pm Pizza Chains:

1. Pizza Hut 2. Domino's 3. Papa John's 4. Little Caesars 5. Noble Roman's 6. Casey's Carry-Out 7. Papa Murphy's Take n Bake 8. Cici's 9. Godfather's 10. Round Table
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:54pm Ike:

I myself never said Obama was sooooo great, @HBD. But I'll take him over Cain, just for starters, b/c he doesn't want to raise taxes on the lower and middle classes while lowering the taxes of the rich. Also there are all sorts of people working as "adjunct professors" -- you're painting them all with a Buick-sized brush there.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:55pm Ben drunken:

Herman Munster on cocaine would beat this guy and the public would love it!
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:56pm A Voice:

Transcend the circus.
Tue. 11/8/11 6:57pm depressed Persian cab driver:

The hat tells you everything you need to know about Cain.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:58pm Haven't Been Drinkin:

@Ike: I'm not disagreeing with your last sentence as far as it goes. But I'd reassert what is in fact the core of the problem for our current politics: Not all adjuncts have completely unreal delusions that they'd be good at running the largest government in the history of the planet.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:58pm Totes:

Herman will go away. Just like Bachmann, Perry, etc. People vote mild and dull.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:59pm asb:

Oh man. I love the idea that sexual harassment accusations would "have" to be a smokescreen, because lord knows there are never any powerful dudes who treat women like crap.
  Tue. 11/8/11 6:59pm Ben drunken:

Probably most post Chris T has has in while
