  8:10am
Andrew:

how weird...just after I said the last comment I noticed this pic in the images....http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_FWi91Gbkh-c/SVK2w5NZGZI/AAAAAAAADkE/ciM4IGiz1Tg/s400/CASHFLOWWEB.jpg

  8:19am
ausmanx:

"TOO MUCH SWAG GOING ON" - MARTY MCSORLEY
i'd buy one of those!
  8:27am
Marty:

hhaha. i was thinking on making some that say "THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE SPOTIFIED"
  8:28am
fishwod:

i flippin hate spotify not sure why i just do
  8:29am
Andrew:

I have only ever heard of spotify on these WFMU shows
  8:35am
ausmanx:

spotify looks like a music site would look if it were run by bankers...
  8:39am
(-_-):

While I see why Spotify sucks from a collector/music-phile point of view it's existance amazes me.

perhaps it's because i haven't bothered going to a record fare in 10 years or so.

is it a matter of ethics towards the artists, the collector or what, fellow spoti-phobe.
  8:43am
Marty:

from my point it keeps listeners in their comfort bubble. (with exceptions for commercials for shitty music no were near related to what they are listing to) + the artists get paid next to shit. and its robots. and im scared of robots.
  8:44am
Marty:

if you all like real live human djs you all should pledge to robot free WFMU by using the box @ the top of the play list!
  8:44am
Marty:

Happy to be up to 20% of my goal but i know we could do better!
  8:45am
ausmanx:

how do we know you're not a robot, Mr McSorley? FMU would be so much more convincing if it had a 20 page "Terms and Conditions of Use" section like spotify
  8:47am
Andrew:

i just went there...so it's like itunes or last.fm?
also, it's Swedish...
hrmm
"According to an infographic by David McCandless, an independent artist on Spotify would need over four million streams per month to earn US$1,160"

love this silver cycles track & people get ready
  8:48am
Marty:

haha. robots would beat match better or just not try at all. and i hope i got more soul than any robot could ever have.
  8:49am
ausmanx:

that's exactly the kind of thing a very clever robot would say! get back to bio dome!
  8:50am
Andrew:

I still havent seen bio dome
  8:55am
Marty:

then you havent truly lived
  8:56am
Cheri Pi:

D666 is playing our town this month too, I took one week off work in advance to recover.
  8:57am
Andrew:

I liked him in encino man though
  8:58am
Andrew:
