The current music "scene" in San Francisco (Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin, Wooden Shjips, Thee Oh Sees, Sic Alps, etc.) is so far and away the coolest in the world it's not even close.

@PB, you mean like the real kind, or just kinda hard to take? Not liek enhanced interrogation methods style, right?

@Paul from Minneapolis, that would be telling. I like paulstretch, but tonight is the first time i've gotten what I want out of it. And I use Adobe Audition (used to be Cool Edit) a lot. Also Audacity. Also effects racks and manipulated turntables. Wish I had a real set-up besides the computer for doing more with this.

I just read on AMG that some of the West album by Wooden Shjips was mastered by Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3 fame. Makes total sense.
