Favoriting September 28, 2011: Itunes Radio + Chartsweep Karaoke Challenge

Still in my playlist malaise! I refuse to pick songs. This week I let the fine DJs on various iTunes radio channels make the picks. You bring the smooth hits, I'll bring the path of traversal w/ complimentary meows.

Don't know why I've never before remixed current rap and R&B hits, it's too much fun!

I listen to part 1 of Hugo Keesing's chartsweep on headphones and sing along. I can kinda keep up, but when I listened, I mutter off key way more than I thought. 45 minutes of awful a capella renditions of sequential #1 hits.

Final set of iTunes radio remixes. A mellower set.

Hi Nat & fred
just before I d/led the 1956-59 cut up mps off the WMFU blog, haven't listened yet. Are they like this? I like the crazy sound ^_^
  3:27am
Nat:

Hi Andrew, I use cutups like those in this show, but they're much more straightforward and not improvised. I'll be singing 45 minutes of Hugo Keesing's chartsweep a capella later in tonight's program though! It will be awful.

Hi, Nat, I'm a dj on killradio.org in Los Angeles. I was listening to you live last week and was made utterly joyous by your program, down to the Pat Boone tune. Just marvelous! I actually played it into my own show this week on kill. It's not posted yet, but it will be. And thank you so much for musical dadaism that works.

Your singing is very disorienting and caused me to not be able to think straight. I had to pause the player just now because I found it impossible to concentrate on typing this comment.
