There's a french recipe, you push coffee beans into the peel of a whole orange and then let it soak in booze for a week or two. It gets real orangy and real caffeinated, it's good.

@Meghan: I'm from Paris (Ménilmontant) and i'm living in a street where there's a bar called "Le Babel Café" where Manu Chao used to hang out.. Sadly i never met him since i live here, it's a place where many southern musicians used to play like Zebda and so on

Try "Liqueur 44" here, it's pretty close to what I remember ... http://homedistiller.org/liqueurs2.htm ... except I cut way down on the sugar ... and then I tried it and got totally wired, yeowch

Yeah La Féline was fun, on a wam night out in the street w people from the bar across the street. The bar was in the Helsinki newspaper's entertainment supplement the day I left and I took a copy to the bar and translated it for them, hey I got some free drinks out of that :-D

Yes, their music tastes good.. the DJ sets are some nights open to people who wants to mix, a girl-friend of mine played some songs a year ago.. the bartenders don't hesitate to make fun of you even if they dig the sound!
