Detroit Dave:
I've been in an accident and in a coma, to laugh about something that happens daily to people through accidents is pretty lame and immature, screw this show and the cheesy douches who run it!
Thu. 9/1/11 7:16pm
Fan Li:
Wasn't this show supposed to be about discussing paranormal phenomena?

Sean:
Warren F. Disbrow should direct the Night People Movie!
Thu. 9/1/11 7:31pm
?:
Film has high noise in it. That's what he means.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:31pm
w dawg:
love it when authorities on a subject say things suck
Thu. 9/1/11 7:33pm
dz:
i believe noise is the equivalent for digital
Thu. 9/1/11 7:34pm
?:
yeah, and of course you can add "grain" to digital in post-production...
Thu. 9/1/11 7:36pm
?:
what sucks about movies technically is that they still only have 24 frames per second. it's so jerky even with motion blur. I hope Hollywood will double the framerate finally.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:38pm
dz:
the effect (grain/noise) being pleasing makes sense. stare at anything of a solid color at a moderate distance and you see the same thing
Thu. 9/1/11 7:40pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:
In general, digital is a crap format for video and audio as well.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:42pm
?:
yeah, analog is magically better. it's magic. like magnets.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:42pm
?:
miracles
Thu. 9/1/11 7:44pm
dz:
primer was made on a budget of 7000$ and used super16 film
Thu. 9/1/11 7:53pm
Listener Dave from Seattle:
But what about the underwear???????
Thu. 9/1/11 7:56pm
InBrkly:
Since you can't trademark a dictionary word (I think) it makes sense that they would pun on trauma.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:58pm
InBrkly:
Regarding 24 frames per sec, that makes sense when reflecting on a white screen in a dark room because of "persistence of vision". But that does not apply if you are staring at a computer screen for example.
Thu. 9/1/11 7:59pm
?:
then it must be a different effect why I can distinguish between 24/30/60 frames per second... hmmm
