Re Dave's Computer: If it has a LCD screen, the backlight might be dead. Or there might be a problem with the power connections inside the laptop. I had pretty much the same problem a few years back. | |

it's about British pre-WarII Olympic athletes. one main character runs the 100m & 200m, the other main character runs the 400m. it's more complicated than that, but that's close to it. | |
