The phone companies got a lot of flack for keeping a huge chunk of the donations for earthquake relief in Haiti, so they eventually were pressured into giving it all to the cause, but that is certainly not the norm, unfortunately.

I only discovered WFMU recently so missed out on whatever it was that people are getting swag for. I did however order my own t-shirt :) As for mosquitoes, supposedly if you put a dryer sheet (like Bounce) in your pocket they will leave you alone. Don't know if that is true or not.

@DCE: Know what you mean. But I don't listen to them often. I'm more obsessed with WFMU (most of the time, a couple New Zealand stations, and a few other in the US. I like the music at WRUW but the djs annoy me.

@DCE: Seems most of the stations in Col are now owned by Clear Channel. Dayton Univ WUDR 99.5 or Otterbein WOBN 97.5 might work for you.

Boulder's KVCU isn't bad either except it's an AM station (mono on the web) which sucks. Chicago's WNUR is pretty good too.
